I’m. Not really sure of this place to be honest and It’s not a place I’d want to go. Friends of. mine have been here and really didn’t like the food or service and said that the place was really dirty and gross

I’ve been to this location several times. The décor is quite old, out-​dated, and dusty, and the restaurant from afar looks like nothing more than a trailer sitting in an empty parking lot. Nevertheless, the food here is pretty good, typical of a bar and grill or deli-​style items. They also have restaurant-​made tshirts for sale.

Only go here for zucchini sticks and your grease fix. Newly renovated interior and average service. Everything else I can’t comment on. Amazing that this place has been in business this long.

Not really sure how this place stays open to be honest. I’ve been there a few times in recent years and it’s never been close to being full. It’s a fun looking place, but it’s just not all that great.
Food is sub-​par and wait staff certainly don’t look like they enjoy their job and it shows to those at the restaurant. Skip it.

My kids love the décor and it has a nice feel when you get in. Lots of great pictures of monkeys … The kids menu is decent. I had an overpriced chicken taco salad, that was high on price on short on chicken. Nice service.

Monkey Joe’s sounds like a fun restaurant to go to with the family or with a group of friends. Personally, I would keep looking.
The theme of the restaurant is all over the place, with random items all over the walls and an almost tropical theme when you first walk in, including a mechanical monkey that balances on a wire and motors throughout the restaurant.
That would be the highlight of the establishment. It tries to pass itself off as a quasi-​Tex Mex restaurant but falls short. There is a bar area, but it is a fairly cramped area and there is no real bar life to speak of.
The food tries to be Tex Mex with fajitas and the lot, but it is nothing too inspired. On top of that the few times I have been there the food has been slow to come out and cold when it arrives. I hate to slam the place too much, but the service was nothing too write home about either.
