Orange

If you’re looking for authentic 60s and 70s vintage clothing and accessories, Orange is probably your safest destination in Ottawa. This is a shop for the more serious vintage shopper since the prices are fairly high and the clothes are rare. However, some of the clothing borders on being a little too far «out there,» so it’s sometimes difficult to work them into a wardrobe. But I’m sure creative types with a very unique style can make it happen. However, I would say the biggest strength of this shop is its unique selection of accessories and shoes.
My major complaint is the odd hours: Wednesday to Sunday, 11am-​5pm. There have even been a couple times when I’ve shown up during their available hours and the shop is still closed. The staff is also a bit rude from time to time.
