Overpriced hair salon and the stylist became careless as I was a regular client and completely destroyed my hair. I now have «banding» and paid almost 200 $ for this mess. I came here several times before my hair was destroyed and found the staff is unfriendly and rude as well. Avoid make-​up application because the products are junk. This salon doesn’t care about quality clients either just quantity to make as much money as possible. Always felt rushed and see 2 clients at the same time. Avoid.

Well, I have to say that I do like going here for a cut and a colour… but they are WAY overpriced. I was willing to pay it, but was just coming away from their establishment with the nagging feeling of being ripped off.
And then I had a pedicure. it had to be the worst pedicure I’ve ever had, The most basic of equipment, the woman never stopped talking and there were absolutely zero perks. When I go for a pedi I expect comfort, and not just a basin to put my feet into. I expect to have my nails polished and DRY when I leave. That means a professional curing machine that dries my nails. By the time I got home they were completely wrecked even though she wrapped my toes in plastic with something slimy inside. Very uncomfortable to say the least. I have never paid so much for a half done job and then had to go home and take the polish off. My feet still exhibited dry skin and winter buildup. I think the woman doing it was more concerned with getting it done rather than paying any attention to my feet. They would be better off not providing this service.
For a mall salon, I’d give it a pass.

Amazing!!! From the spa services (Athena is super great!) to the hair styling — I’ve never had a bad experience. No one cuts my hair like Dan and Dom is amazing for special events! They arranged to open early to get me and my entire wedding party ready — we all received amazing compliments. A big thank you to all the staff for always providing great service!

I only got my eyebrows done here, but it was a perfect experience so I feel like I had to give it 5 stars. I’m definitely coming back for a hair cut or a manicure at some point so when I do I’ll update this.
I was greeted by a polite lady at the front desk, who brought me back to the waiting room for spa services. The salon was very busy and this was on a sunday, so I figured that was a good sign. I didn’t wait too long until a lovely lady named Meg came and led me to a quiet serene room to do my eyebrows. Some people are completely gifted in the sense that they can make small talk not awkward at all, and Meg was one of these people. I actually didn’t mind talking her up.
I like that they use the same rooms to do waxing as they do for massages because lets face it, waxing of any sort sucks terribly and it definitely makes it easier if the environment is as relaxing as possible. Anyway, she spent a long time on my eyebrows to make sure she got them right. I was happy when she showed me them, they were perfect! She asked me if the shape was okay and ensured that I was pleased with the job she did.
It came to $ 18, about standard anywhere you go. I’ll definitely be back to get my eyebrows done, and next time I need any beauty treatment!

My wife loves a good day at the spa. We lived overseas for many years and there, as opposed to here, you can always find spa services for super cheap. So, since we moved back to Canada, my wife has be searching for spa places that measured up to the spoiling she got in Bali, Thailand and Korea. Il Paradiso was such a magical find for her. First of all, it is a COMPLETE spa — waxing (ugh), manicures, electrolysis (yikes), electrocoagulation (what the hell?), facials, tanning, massage, body wraps, exfoliation, etc. My wife had a pedicure (that came with a lower leg massage) and it cost $ 50. However, the water her feet soaked in was flat, not bubbling. And, her chair did not offer much neck support. Otherwise, she love it!

Some of the worst haircuts I’ve had were at Precision Hair Design. I was able to find one stylist I liked, but a couple times, for one reason or another, I was thrown at some other stylist. She didn’t seem to know what she was doing and I would watch and see exactly what she was about to do and I kept telling her I wanted layers, texture, etc. But every time she seemed incapable of giving me anything but a weird blunt cut that looked like something my friend could have done for me. The prices are also too high for the quality of hair styles I see coming out of the salon. After my stylist left, I left too.
