A super lovely storekeeper with too much opinions on what a great falafel is. Unfortunately she chose some if not most of the ingredients regardless to our stated wishes whole constructing our meals. On the plus side if you order a large you’ll eat for a week AND it came with dessert. Needless to say the experience was ok and the resulting meal less than expected. Creamed garlic, pickled and those pickled beets were not good additives.

I hope this review doesn’t come off sounding negative. Prince Shawarma is a good place to eat. My wife and I returned to Canada from years living overseas and we were delighted (at first) to find shawarma places in Ottawa to satisfy our cravings for all the delicious Lebanese and Middle Eastern foods we fell in love with in our travels. The thing is, there are SO many bloody shawarma places in Ottawa that it is getting tough to tell them apart. Prince Shawarma has a real fast-​food atmosphere about it (unlike some of the other more comfortable places we’ve discovered). But, the food is good and there are lots of specials if you are looking for a deal.
