Friendly pub with excellent food. I had their onion soup and 10 oz sirloin. Both were delicious. My wife had the chicken souvlaki special and it too was delicious. Highly recommend this place.

I love to hang out in pubs and have made it my personal mission to visit each and every one in the city. This will probably take me until 2345 since the city has an infinite number of such establishments. Riverside Pub is in a relatively pub-​free part of the city, next to some new, sprawling housing developments. So, competition is not a big force and yet the place has done a lot to differentiate itself. For instance, the wings come in a variety of non-​traditional flavours, like teriyaki and jerk lime. Although perhaps they are the new PC flavours??? Anyhow, the food is a little different from your normal pub grub, but along the same lines. And, the bar serves the usual pub selection of quality local and international beers (Guinness, Stella, Keiths, et. al.). If you are looking for a pub that offers something a little different, but not jarringly different, then Riverside Pub is for you.
