I’ve been in and out of this place for the last few years and every time I leave I think the same thing… why did I go back? The staff here have no idea what the talking about when it comes to bongs or vaporizers or anything. Any question I asked the other was answered with«yes» or «maybe». I was being pushed aside and I was the only person in the store. You’d think they would try and make me happy and buy something. I was so mad I went from wanting a new bong which I don’t mind spending a decent amount on, to getting a single pack of papers. Never going back again

Got a really lovely bong for less than half price here the other day, the bowl piece was an extra $ 10 which was unfortunate. The woman at the counter knew her stuff about basically everything and was helpful and funny. They have a huge selection of t-shirts and an entire room filled with bongs so I guess this is the place to go if you ever need anything weed related. Only downside there’s a REALLY cranky guy who works the cash, I’m pretty sure hes the owner. Too bad.

I got my first(underage) tattoo at Rock Junction. I was 16 and my friend was 17, in which case we needed parental consent, but the girl at the counter in the tattoo and piercing area told us to just show her our health cards so that the cameras would see that we had ID. Though we thought it was pretty cool at the time, now that I’m older, it makes me nervous about some of their practices, which we were also charged twice the price for. This was quite a few years ago, though, so I have been back a couple of times since then, just not in their tattoo section. The times I’ve visited since my first tattoo experience were for the larger half of their shop, which sells clothing and accessories. They have t-shirts that have pictures and sayings of bands, Bob Marley, and a lot of other popular singers and artists. They also sell jewelry, hats, rolling papers, pipes, and flavored organic non-tobacco shisha. They have a fairly good selection of items and goods, but I find their prices on the more expensive side. If you can manage to get the attention of someone behind the counter, it can be pretty convenient if you already know what you want and are ready to pay and leave.

Rock Junction has been on Rideau Street for years. It kind of makes you wonder how such a random shop can survive on one of the city’s best streets for shopping, but it continues to defy the odds. Classifying Rock junction is hard. They carry a lot of Rock and music T-shirts, they carry some footwear and army surplus equipment, and they carry assorted sunglasses and a complete range of other random stuff. And on top of all of those things they carry bongs and other marijuana related objects. All of this stuff is crammed into a large yet incredibly full store. The hardest part will be finding what you’re looking for, since there are no maps or anything telling you where something might be located. It’s really a free for all, but if the above products are what you might be looking for, give it a shot. If nothing else it will be entertaining.
