Just got some business cards printed here… It would have been more professional to have just written my name on a napkin. The card stock is barely thicker than standard printer paper and the background design has been completely washed to black. These are of lower quality than if I had just printed them at home and cut them with kitchen scissors.

Everyone is always so helpful and knowledgeable. Staples has everything! I had no idea. I love school shopping there they are very competitive in pricing at that time and the quality is just as good.

This was a bit of an odd Staples store. Located close to the very end(on the east side), there’s plenty of parking which is good(and why I came here instead of the Bank Street location). Almost every Staples I’ve been to has the same familiar layout, but this location through me for a loop. I had a bit of a hard time finding the things I was looking for as it wasn’t familiar, but eventually I got what I needed. As Emma mentioned, the copy area is a bit of a nightmare. The staff were pretty unhelpful, and I ended up printing everything from the self-serve kiosks. I also happened to overhear some swearing and inappropriate conversations(think date night over-shares) from two of the male staff stocking shelves. A bit of a bright light at the end — the staff member who checked me out was lovely and smiley and great at customer service. The other staff could certainly take a lesson from her!

This review is for the copy center mostly, but also for the store. I have been to this location countless times as it is closest to my home, and as a business person I need to get a lot of printing done. I don’t know WHAT the hiring criteria is at this store but it has to be something like…“dry people only“ SERIOUSLY! I think of the 50+ times I have been there, I have gotten one smile, and ONE helpful employee, ONE time. 50% of the time my order is not done to my specifications when I submit it online, and a lot of the time I am in a rush or my husband picks it up so I end up with a messed up order and I have to go back to the store which wastes a lot of my time. When I do check it, they will fix it for me, but that takes time and defeats the purpose of submitting it online the day before. Today I picked up an order, and was in a rush to leave the store. I checked it, and the printing was aligned, no fading. all good. I got home and realized that I was missing 8 sheets from my order, which I had been charged for??? I called them and the guy on the phone fixed the problem right away and printed what was missing. I want to know why it was missing in the first place! Is that not part of THEIR job? Do I seriously have to check my order every time because it might not be aligned, or cropped, or just not there? I do a lot of design work, and I know how to submit a file that is perfect and shouldn’t be cropped. After the first few times I finally realized it was because they don’t have borderless printing(yes, I had to figure it out, because the employees couldn’t tell me THAT’S the reason my printing is cropped). I now always submit my files with the ¼ inch margin on the edges which I was told is the cut off for their prints. Guess what? I still get occasional weird cropping where one side has a huge border and the other has a thin one. The times that happens they just print it for me again, and miraculously it is perfect… hmmm. Another thing, I have had to get printing done express and picked up after midnight(it’s a 24 hour location) twice. Both times I called ahead and got a really rude person on the phone, and btw they charge you something like 6 or 7 bucks to express your order. It’s such a money grab. Yes, I know a normal person would just switch printing places but I can’t afford to be running around the city when this one is so close by. I have started testing out other locations. About the store: I think I get one of two cashiers each time, and it’s always the kind of treatment that makes you feel like they are doing you a huge favour for cashing you out, like it’s not their job or something? You could say… overall I am NOT pleased with the service at this location. I met someone who used to work there and before I had even mentioned anything she said to me, «the people at that location are really mean.» I have to say I generally agree.

I came to this location after getting fed up with my attempt at finding a computer through Future Shop. Unfortunately, they did have the same computer in stock here, but it was $ 100 more than the Future Shop price tag.
