Suntan Centre

When I lived in Kuwait, my favourite shopping store was the Sultan Center. TSC had it all — groceries, home furnishing, clothes, toys, cds & dvds… So, when I heard there was a Sultan Centre in Vanier, I had to go and check it out. Wow, talk about bitter disappointment. The Ottawa Sultan Centre was in fact, the Sun-​tan Centre, a tanning place. It is a tiny little place off Montréal Road that offers tanning and, weirdly enough, fax and photocopy services??? Talk about taking brand extension a little too far. It is quite reasonable, for the tanning, but caveat emptor!
