Super A Nails

I frequented this salon fairly often for shellac manicures and spa pedicures. I’ve had certain staff provide excellent service: very attentive and detail-​orientated. I’ve also had, unfortunately, distracted staff who scroll through their phones while waiting for the curing on a shellac. After that service, I came home and noticed one of my nails had been filed crooked. As it was shellac, I couldn’t simply file it down to match. As well, I’ve noticed general inconsistency amongst services. The pedicure is nice with the hot towel and scrub; I’ve gone and had the towel not applied, or the scrub skipped. It really depends on who you get.
The place is spotless and very hygienic. If you don’t mind (sometimes) brisk service, this is a spot for you. There is a Starbucks within the same unit so its convenient to go grab a coffee /​tea before you relax.

Update since last post on ³⁰⁄₀₆: I’ve since heard back from the salon apologizing and offering me a pedicure at no charge. I need to let my toenails grow, but am debating whether to return, even at no cost. We’ll see.
Update again: I didn’t take them up on their offer. I will never return there again. With so many places for a great pedicure, I preferred not chance them botching my toenails again. Stay away.

One of the nicest places in town! I come here once every two weeks to do my shellac manicure and i’m addicted! The people here very helpful, friendly and patient. I always get the most quality result out of each service. I can be very picky sometimes but it seems like doesn’t bother them. So i guess you really have to be the hard to pleased one in order to be unhappy with the services here. Overall i will introduce more friends and family to come here in the future as i already have done in the past.

This location, in Ottawa is one of the few that offer a specific service that I had been looking for. When I had first gone my first and second time I was 85% satisfied with what I had received, as I kept going back it seemed that the «rules» for creating the nails I desired had suddenly changed. I had to resort to a different method which I did not especially like… a more recent experience was the last two times I had gone in my nails were not done with quality and were very weak. I have recently gone in, and once again was told things could not be done the way I wanted it to be (in my eyes, if you are one of the few locations offering this service wouldn’t you master the trade). anyhow they fixed my nails but it was definitely not done properly as the technician that had done it did not compare the length or shape of the other fingers, I repeatedly had to remind them to make sure it was the same. It was a half fast job, and I had begun to get impatient with the work. I have given this place the benefit of the doubt several times and I am over it. Not to mention at one point my prices varied drastically from one visit to another.
