I have been meaning to try this place for ages so finally on a night out to dinner with a friend we decided to go. Upon entering it is really like your typical thai place but we were seated right away and there were a few other tables filled. My friend and I sat down and were greeted quickly and got water, which they have limes in their water so it was nice and refreshing. We were having trouble decided what to order so I quickly opened the Unilocal app and found another reviewer loved the Panang curry and so I went with that and my friend got the crispy noodles. We shared the summer rolls as a start and was pleasantly surprised when they brought two peanut sauces so we didn’t have to share the sauce. Our meals came out very quickly and my rice came in the shape of a heart which was a super cute touch. I have to say the panang curry was SO good! Props to Unilocalers for never leading me astray. It is like a wonderful medly of curry and peanut sauce and the beef and vegetables were perfectly cooked. My friend also enjoyed her crispy noodles. Service was great, they came and refilled our waters and my friend ordered a coffee and they came and offered her more coffee. At one point the service almost felt like we were being rushed but I think it was just they were being attentive because the place wasn’t very busy on a Thursday night. I highly recommend people check out this place. It can be overlooked because of its location in a strip mall but don’t let that fool you. The food is great and the service is very good so definitely check it out!

My parents and I had dinner here yesterday and we loved it! It is the best restaurant we have been to in Orleans. When we arrived, we were greeted right away and brought to our table. Menus and waters were brought over promptly. We were served primarily by the owner, Thuy, who is incredibly nice and so sincere and genuine. She gave us recommendations based on our likes and dislikes, and let us know that everything is made from scratch so modifications can easily be made. We were also served by another server who refilled our waters and checked up on us periodically. This server was also very friendly and courteous. We had the Fried Wontons(10 for $ 6.95), Basil Noodles with shrimp and chicken($ 13.95), Beef Panang Curry($ 13.95) and Neua Ta-Krai(Lemongrass Beef $ 13.95). The curry and lemongrass beef comes with steamed rice. The Fried Wontons were by far the best fried wontons I have ever had. There was a lot of filling(ground chicken). However, the best part was the wonton wrapper. It was so crispy and airy. The wonton skin was all blistery and crunchy and it was absolutely fantastic. I generally don’t like fried wontons but I loved them here. The Basil Noodles were also spectacular. The dish was so fragrant and you could definitely smell the basil. The taste was creamy and nutty, like pesto, but with Thai flavourings instead of Italian. It had 5 large shrimp and many pieces of chicken. So delicious! The Panang Curry was also fantastic. My dad loved this dish the most. When we were done he tried to get every last drop of the sauce to pour over his rice. It had lots of beef, baby corn, red and green peppers and onions. It was rich and creamy and you could really taste the coconut milk and peanuts. The Beef Lemongrass was ok, but I liked the other dishes better. I found this dish a little too oily for my liking. However, the flavouring was good. You could taste the lemongrass, ginger and onions. It came with green and red peppers and onions. They put the rice in a heart-shaped mold and serve it on a plate — a little heart of rice — so cute! We had such a great evening. The owner really made us feel welcomed and we will definitely be back. Excellent food, great service, and reasonable prices, what’s not to like? It is located in a strip mall, so there is lots of free parking. Décor is simple, but nice and clean. If you like Thai food, you need to try T’Basil in Orleans.

Good food, good lunch specials. Phở had very little beef and was a small bowl for 9.99 but tasted good. Peanut sauce was very good and the red curry was tasty.
