My favorite home decorate place in Ottawa. Love the mirrors, lamps and plates and so many many things…

I love this place! I could have bought everything in the store, and might have if it wasn’t for the fact that I only had a carry-on bag to take on the plane home. Zone carries home goods such as kitchen tools, bowls and glassware, bathroom and living room decorations, jewelry, etc. A little of everything. All of their goods are cute, and best of all the prices are really reasonable.

I LOVE this place. Absolutely love it. Lots of option, helpful staff and reasonable prices. Best part is, I can do online shopping. It’s unfortunate they don’t have a store in Vancouver. I’d be there every week…

Zone is such a playful and fun store to browse around. Great place to shop for home and gifts for friends. The vibe here is youthful but not overboard. BTW, this is the first place I saw an extendable selfie stick for selfie lover. Yes they do carry up to date gadget!

This store is a whole bunch of beautiful! A Montréal-based brand, Zone is filled with lovely items for your home as well as jewelry, kitchen gadgets, and more. My sister requested we pop in here for some Christmas shopping, and I thought that a place in the Byward Market would be a tad pricey, but it was incredibly reasonable. It was packed when we came in the week before Christmas, but the store was still immaculate and the fluently bilingual staff were lovely and fun. As Tanya mentioned, there’s a whack load of stuff here, so best to come in when you’re not in a rush. They a sell a ton of Umbra stuff here, which I always enjoy. Loads of tasteful décor as well as a few pieces of furniture(a few lovely accent tables, chairs and small desks). They also have a ton of fun and quirky items, like an alarm clock wooden cube that runs on a clapper, adult colouring books(they were so fun!), tons of moose items, awesome accent pillows, and loads of fun kitchen gadgets. This has got to be the best place in the city to pick up a housewarming gift! I can’t wait to come back again.

This store has fun stuff for your house/apt! They don’t sell large items(furniture, etc) but anything else you need for a kitchen, bathroom or boring hallway Zone can help you with. Light fixtures, bathroom, fixtures, artwork, kitchen accessories the list goes on from there. Always carrying current and trendy items they still know what looks will ‘last’ and not be outdated next year. Plan on spending some time when you go here for your first visit — there is lots to look at!

All Barenaked Ladies jokes aside, if I really did in fact«have a million dollars», my apartment would be filled top to bottom with items from Zone. I have often popped in after a lunch in the market to do some browsing and shopping. A perfect hybrid of novelty and modern chic, the items at Zone range from handy to really, REALLY cool. With all kinds of gadgets and décor items for every room in the house, furniture and even jewelry, it is a rare occasion that I have left this Sussex shop empty handed. The best part is that the items are affordable, or at the very least reasonably priced. I was looking for a set of red wine glasses for weeks but refused to pay the ridiculous department store prices. Zone had exactly what I was looking for, and since then I have collected their drying rack, champagne glasses, white wine glasses, placemats and even some items for my bathroom. They have this fantastic reading tray meant for the bathtub, so that you can drink a glass of wine and read(or perhaps Unilocal!) while soaking in a bubble bath! While the staff are not usually attentive, I am an independent shopper and not bothered by this. The last thing I need to someone convincing me to buy the thousands of items that I so desperately desire!

Dropped in for a coffee press today and found a very neat store with amazing prices. They carry a lot of Bodum items for prices you’d find online unlike other stores I’ve come across with Bodum items in Ottawa. The store has many items for the house as well as lighting and furniture. I’ll be back to pick up some other items from this store in the near future.

I always love coming here to look around. This is the perfect store to look for a gift, but it’s also fun to just browse with nothing particular in mind. There are lots of funky décor items, like really elaborate chandeliers and quirky wall clocks. You can also find great kitchen and bath items, along with accessories(photo frames, jewelery boxes, hooks, etc.) by Umbra. They even carry jewelery, watches, and cards. It’s a convenient one stop shop for those looking for style on a budget.

Wow were they busy. I guess with the holidays only a few days away they would be slammed. Sales person was not very helpful but, found some unusual gift items. Purchased a fantastic lamp for my sister. Great look and prices. On my list of fun places to shop.

Zone is a very popular Sussex Drive shop but without the Sussex Drive prices. Yes, some of their items are priced a bit higher than you’d expect in terms of house or kitchen wear but they have some of the best brands. The store is packed full of items. The only complaint I have is that it’s often hard to move around the store because it’s so full of merchandise and shoppers but that can be avoided by going on a week day or weeknight instead of a busy weekend. The staff are always friendly and around if you need them. They’re also very knowledgeable and helpful if you’re using them for a registry as I was there with a friend who was purchasing something off of one and the manager was very well organized. You can get great gift ideas or fun novelty things for under $ 20 or dining room chairs and tables for a few hundred bucks. Go with a budget because you may be tempted by a lot of items.

This is a one stop shop to make any house a contemporary haven. It had very modern pieces for really fair prices. Normally at boutiques like this you find things are ridiculously priced and when you come away with one or 2 items your husband or boyfriend questions your intelligience when you tell them how much you paid for that super cool«thing», whatever it may be. This won’t happen here! They have a wide range of modern pieces from clocks to chairs to mirrors to knobs for furniture. I wish I didn’t live in the U.S. I would’ve gone crazy there! Needless to say — they have a web-site that I have already taken advantage of ;) PS — The staff wasn’t especially helpful. They just kind of glanced in my direction as I oggled all of their cool stuff. PPS — There is a LOT of construction going on in this area but they’re still open. Just watch out for the gravel if you’re wearing heels.
