What a surprise! A great hotel — Best Western in Owen Sound Ontario! You don’t need anymore that this great hotel. Large rooms — all new, free Wi-Fi and gas fireplace — right on the water — Georgian Bay. Great beds, coffee in room and even refrigerator! But booked through Expedia who almost doubled the room cost because of an event being held nearby. Free continental breakfast is very light. just toast, bagels, muffins, boiled eggs. Pay and get a good breakfast at a discount. Great value

Another Friendly Hotel in a quaint town. I was checking in a group. They were prompt and efficient. Got to my room, and the room was very clean. Bed looks very comfortable. Small Kitchen area. Only issue is a lot of Hotel are using really terrible Coffee machine that take proprietary coffee pods using terribly bad coffee. Otherwise everything else was in very well kept manner.
Restaurant below serving meals throughout the day.
A Nice stay in Owen Sound.

OK. I’ll be honest. I’m not a fan of the Best Western chain. And I was skeptical of booking a room here, but we didn’t have much choice. Now that that’s out of the way, we loved this place. The staff was friendly, the room was very spacious and incredibly clean. We had a water view, the bed was comfortable and there was a very good sized mini-fridge for my beer. My wife and I joked on the drive to Owen Sound that after five nights at the Ritz in Toronto, we were slumming it, but we couldn’t have been more pleased. I’d go back any time. And like the hotel, the people of the town itself were gracious and friendly.

Stayed here for a few nights while visiting Bruce Peninsula.
It was a nice place with a great view of the bay. Not as close to the Peninsula as I would have liked (about an hours drive). The staff was very friendly and upgraded our room since I had AAA. Yeah great we got a fireplace room… thats what two guys on a hiking trip really wanted.
The hotel restaurant wasn’t very good. I was hoping for some fresh fish as it was titled «Inn on the Bay», but it was frozen fare. My buddy said his tomato sause was too sugary.
The whirlpools were great. The sauna was broken (again on this trip!).
The town itself left a lot to be desired. It seemed that after nightfall the place was a ghost town.
