Art Knapp’s Plantland & Flower Shop

Plantland has great potential and a wonderful array of supplies. When you walk in you are met by flower arrangements, potted plants, plant and gardening accessories and much more. This is not a small place and they really pack every available surface with items for you to look over.
We recently placed an order for a few different things through the florist inside Plantland. We went over the order a few times and the florist knew what we wanted. When we arrived (at the agreed upon time), we went to pick up our order. She said everything was ready to go, but she had actually forgotten to prepare ¹⁄₃ of our order. The large table centerpiece (pictured) was ready to go and was as we had asked (low so people can see over it). There were two orchid vases also ready to go. We had asked for some orchid flowers of different colors so we could float them in glasses on the tables. She had completely forgotten and was actually out of the different colors. She knew she had made a mistake and quickly ran around quietly scolding herself as she tried to put something together at the last moment.
Everything turned out ok in the end, but it did put us behind schedule. I looked at our receipt and order and it clearly had everything on it that we had asked for, our florist had just made a mistake.
All the items were very pretty and very reasonably priced. I live in a very large city, so the prices at Plantland struck me as extremely cheap. $ 60 for a large table centerpiece arrangement? Only $ 30 for two vases of orchids? It was very cheap and the flowers were pretty and fresh.
I’d use Plantland again because of the cost and final product. I would make sure to double check everything a few times and especially at the register, so I don’t pay for anything I don’t receive.
3 stars for good quality. They could have been a 4 star place if the florist hadn’t messed up, but hopefully they can get their follow through on orders worked out.
