I just moved to Petrolia, I friend told me I had to try Actors. I’ve now been there three times and can’t get enough of the great food and value. The new owner has taken over about a month now, and the staff are very friendly. I’ve met the cook such a great young lad and the kitchen is very clean. So if you ever are in Petrolia or visiting the VPP for a show drop in you won’t be disappointed. JPS

I’ve been informed that there are new owners/operators. Thank God. The last couple that ran this place nearly killed it and in doing so hurt the local reputation. If the new folks know what they’re doing then I’ll give it another chance.

I visit Actor’s at least once a week. Tonight I enjoyed the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo from the new menu. It was creamy and rich and the chicken was cooked perfectly. I also enjoy their lunch specials, which are always different and try new flavor combinations. And the soup of the day — my personal favorite, Bacon Dill Pickle! I can’t say enough good things about the food here! Definitely a must visit if you’re in Petrolia.
