I used their mobile app to request a pickup. My request went in at 3:50 on a Wednesday afternoon. I got a confirmation email a couple minutes later but by 4:00, the status of my call was still«waiting for a car to be assigned». I called them to see if something has gone wrong and was told I was in the system and a car would be dispatched in 5 minutes. Even if that had been the case, that’s 15 minutes I would’ve been waiting just to have a car dispatched when I should already be in the car by then. But I said okay and I waited. At 4:15, when a car still hadn’t been assigned or dispatched, I realized I was going to be late for my appointment at 4:30 so I called another cab company. They arrived within 5 minutes and still, a Blueline cab had not been assigned or dispatched. So in 30 minutes time(or more because I cancelled the order after 30), they couldn’t find a car to send to me but their competitor was able to be there in 5 minutes. I’m a frequent customer of Blueline. I used to use them every single day and recently only every couple of weeks but never will again.

I take this cab company almost 3 – 4 times a week. Today I called for a cab and got a snarky gay guy for oshawa bitching at me real crappy customer service so I’m now going to go to taxi taxi.

An open letter to Blueline Taxi that will also be posted to social media Last Friday I got out of a cab, and as I checked my pockets I realized I left my work phone In the car that was driving away. This Monday, I received news from the Oshawa Blueline Taxi Support Department that my phone was nowhere to be found. I can’t help but think the outcome would have been different if I received ANY sort of support from Blueline’s dispatch offices. I called within minutes of getting out of the cab but was told to call the customer service department. They knew full well the service department wasn’t open until Monday(50+ hrs later), but made no attempt to tell me this while deflecting my call. And make no mistake there was NO attempt to help me, just deflect my call and get me off the phone. Once Monday came around, well after the fact, the service office was very helpful in tracking down the cab but by then it was obviously too late. Too little too late. This is the reason that I will never call another Blueline Taxi, and I recommend anyone reading to reconsider as well.

I booked my taxi in advance and they were still 20 minutes late! Thanks to Blue Line I missed my train I needed to make. Save yourself the frustration and headache and book with a different company.

After a few really special and memorable encounters with these drivers… I’d rather walk than give them a cent.
