See photo of sign posted on front door announcing permanent closure. As others have pointed out, seemed to serve more frozen yogurt than real gelato, which was a shame. Overpriced for what you get, and doesn’t distinguish itself from Menchies or Yogurty’s. Desperation in last few months with frequent coupons in the local papers, place was never busy. Surprised they lasted this long.

I live very close to this location and it’s a shame that I had a bad experience here. I came in with a few vouchers/coupons I bought in a charity auction and a few of the items were not available(even though it was on their menu list). I felt as though the person who served me thought it was a burden to help me. Like I was not a worthy enough customer for their time. I will not be coming here again.

The first time I entered this establishment, I expected a typical gelato place and was disappointed. I decided to try it out again in January when coupons had come out. I went at around 6pm during the week and there was only 1 person in front of me in the line. It took the server 20 minutes to make one panini, one sundae and 2 bowls of soup. The soup was less than desirable, the panini was okay and the sundae was pretty boring. It wasn’t the worst experience I’ve ever had at an establishment such as this one but I am glad that I had coupons. This place is nothing special.

Why they called it a gelato place, I have no idea. It’s obviously soft serve yogurt, served menchies style. Which is fine, unless you actually want gelato, in which case this is truly disappointing. Other than that the staff were nice and personable, and the prices seem very affordable, although I didn’t see portions so it’s hard to tell.

Only 8 flavors but I was very happy with the soft-serve vanilla gelato I had. My husband got the chocolate vanilla yogurt twist. He liked the chocolate, but said the vanilla had a tart taste to it. Counter staff were very friendly and there were TONS of toppings to choose from.
