Hair Reflection

I just had the worst hair salon experience in my life!
First of all, a large woman who must’ve been the manager or owner of the salon, was extremely obnoxious and rude. She didn’t listen to anything I wanted and was misguiding the stylist. She was very pushy and overbearing. She saw that the stylist was doing an extremely wrong cut and made little effort to resolve the damage, probably because she has never done the cut herself.
The salon is very dirty and outdated. It can be better maintained for the amount of staff sitting around on their laptops. This place is filled with old people but the salon gives the impression that they can do fashionable cuts. I have no idea where they get off on pricing their services so high for such poor quality. You would get better service at a Magicuts or First Choice. I regret not going there.
My hair looks awful, even ridiculous. I sat in the salon chair for over 2 hours FOR A BOB and still left with the cut unfinished. I have a hair appointment scheduled at my regular stylist even after giving up so much of my time at this salon. Even throughout the process of the haircut when I said «I’m scared» or «I’m worried», the owner reassured me that it’d be okay, but my cut evolved into something horrific.
I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

I’ve been going to this hair salon for over 20 years and while my dad still goes here, my other family members have moved on.
For someone who’s become much less high maintenance with hair in recent past (no more dying or highlights or difficult to maintain cuts), this is a great place to go for a good hair cut and a good experience. The owners are both good stylists, but beyond that, they make the salon feel very comfortable. I’ve never felt intimidated walking into this salon like I have with other places. A lot of salons don’t make you feel very comfortable, especially waiting around for your stylist to be free to take you. Even though the owners are stylists, they make it feel like all the staff are one big family.
The stylists are all very friendly and welcoming; I’ve been to salons where the stylists are engaged in conversation between themselves and you as the customer are completely overlooked, awkwardly sitting in the chair waiting for your cut to be finished. Every time I go here, my stylist (recently I’ve seen Nora and she’s wonderful) is always talking to me, whether they know me or not. The owners recognize me and will ask about my family and whatnot, but even if the stylist is new, they always strike up conversation and focus on me.
I’ve had some wonderful haircuts done here over the years and some very drastic ones at that. Never have I had poor results! This salon can almost always fit you in last minute and they do very good styling work!
