Well, I finally got into Archies in time for dinner (I work late) and I am so glad I did. I had heard the burgers and fries were home made which is great for a town that has so few places to get a good burger. Told him what I wanted and sat down and people watched. Man this place was hopping! Sometimes 6 deep at the front counter and moving steady thanks to the girls working at the counter. Chef brings me my dinner and wow! Huge burger, lot’s of fries cooked the way I wanted it, not they way some else thinks it should be done. So happy I went there and will definitely be back. Good food, fair prices, great service… now if I can only get home delivery :)

I come to Port Colborne for a week every quarter. My coworkers and I found this place by suggestion of our client. We eat here everytime now. We all agree that we have not had a bad meal here. Highly recommended. The taco has at least a half pound of meat on it. Each sandwich is piled high. Good food for a great price.

Archie’s lost so much of my respect,
I was impressed they could make a burger patty without flavour!
Last 4 times i had ordered my meals from them,
There has been «not minor» but major mistakes.
A kitchen is like a play.
If you don’t work together, the show will suck. Owners everywhere are being bought out or plain just don’t care because they sell out on a good flavour and good quality food.
I also believe the new staff have a lack of hygiene. Remember you should be as clean as a doctor. Food goes into our bodies. Doctors use sanitized tools on our bodies.
Hurts to hear it from a red seal chef with respect for ma and pa restaurants.

I cannot let a week go by without eating here at least once, I usually get the chicken parm sub, too delish for words, but it is so good I eat the whole thing in one sitting. The other subs are awesome too, lots of meat, perfect blend of meats too. Just the best.
