they lose 1 point, as service is not the greatest… it’s not the worst though. You must try the deep fried pickle and crispy dry rib appys. DOIT. seriously, no other deep fried pickles taste as good, same goes for the dry ribs.

Average food, high prices, loud tecno playing. I think this place is confused if they’re a night club, sports bar or a restaurant. I would probably think this place was pretty cool if I was 18 otherwise it feels like a cactus club that’s trying too hard.

Good vibe. Good food. Much needed, more chic setting in the tri cities!

I came here a while back with my wife because we had a Groupon. The time before that was for a birthday but I never got the chance to eat. The décor and ambiance isn’t too bad. A large restaurant with an outdoor patio and big bar area. This time around I was able to get some tacos. as that was the only thing I was craving. It came with three tacos and they were decent size and the flavor was average. I wouldn’t say they were amazing because I’ve had much better and the price was your average restaurant price. Similar to cactus or joeys. For me though I like paying 2 to 3 bucks for my tacos because I think they are simple. Service was the worst. We came in and they were understaffed and we waited forever for a seat and decided to sit at the bar so we could eat sooner. Just seems like poor management to be understaffed on a weekend. Have I come back ever since? No probably won’t Food 6⁄10 ambiance 7⁄10 value 5⁄10 service 4⁄10

Love love love this place! They had me at $ 3 happy hour! We have come here for Friday night cocktails, birthday celebrations and dinner on several occasions. I have enjoyed every time I have visited. The staff are super friendly. The drinks are cold! And the food is tasty! All I have is love for this place! Highly recommend!

Came here on my birthday for our first time and I have to say I was blown away by the attentiveness of the waitstaff. Our server was very helpful in selecting choices for our food and wasn’t trying to push anything to up the bill. The place was clean and very open with a modern/casual feel to it. Food was excellent and for the price was well worth it! Drinks are cheap and atmosphere is great with tv’s scattered so you don’t miss a moment of the game.

Love the atmosphere hate the parking… Love the 3.50 drinks, disappointed with the wings.(no meat very skinny)(paid 6.95 before 6pm special)) Loved the fries and the Chicago hot dog. Waitress gave us 1 fork for my wife’s salad and we had to re ask for a knife so I hate my fries by poking them with my knife and she even saw me doing it. Other than that I gave them 3 stars could have been 4 maybe if we didn’t have to beg for utensils. 40.00 was a bit pricy for what we got. But the quality was decent.

By far one of my favourite lounge/bars to go to in Port Coquitlam. Waitresses definitely know what they’re doing, very attentive and friendly. I would say the best night to go would be on a Thursday as they’ve got half price on the appetizers till close. Parking can be a bit hectic, as mentioned in another review just park across the street in Costco it’ll save you the time. Overall would love this place, two thumbs up!

Just went here for the first time. Overall it was a really good experience. Every staff person we encountered from the greeter to our server was pleasant and accommodating. The manager obviously sets the service standard; he came over to ask how our meal was and appeared to be very observant of his staff and the restaurant as a whole. We received our drinks immediately and the food came out just as quick. The Sangria was great and the food was well prepared. We will be back. I loved the décor overall very impressed with this place.

Wanted to try something new around Coquitlam and I came across this place. The décor was quite nice, reminded me of Downtown restaurants. But, the chicken soy I ordered tasted bland and just boring… My bf ordered a blue cheese bison burger with mushrooms which didn’t go well together. And, plus the waitress didn’t bother mentioning that there’s a charge with the side salad that comes with it. They also played 90s rap music which didn’t go well with the atmosphere. Overall, I was pretty disappointed. Bland and and overpriced. And, the tip was 18% which I think is a little too much for a restaurant in Poco. I would not recommend this place!

When I first walked in I thought typical casual fare like Cactus, Browns, Milestones, and Joeys. They use the same formula of pretty girls in tight dresses. However Orrange girls can actually serve, they are attentive and do a great job. They don’t treat you like they are doing you a favour. Their food is also really well done. The menu has a few unique items. The parking lot is a disaster. I recommend parking at Costco and crossing over, or at Save on Foods.

My husband ordered the«I Dare You» wings which came without warning. They are covered in ghost pepper dusting, which for me? I ate. For 99% of the rest of the population, should come with a warning. His mouth was burned. It ruined his first experience here. FYI, I have scorpion pepper sauce in my fridge, which is the worlds hottest pepper currently. I can handle it. For most other people, this is unbearable. The bartender was away from that bar 65% of the time, which unfortunately we were sitting at the bar, so drink service during happy hour on a Saturday was extremely slow.

Is it possible this is the most Yaletown-ish restaurant out here?! Not sure if it’s really PoCo, going further east leads to a whole new development, venturing Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows. I love the setup here; when on solo business trips, the bar/lounge in front of the main entrance doors will ensure repeat visits ;) Nice U-shaped one to boot, too ;) Lots of TV’s all around. After several client meetings, it was time for dessert, and one quick look at their limited dessert menu(3 items), the brownie sundae was the winner, and though not spectacular, I mean, what else can go wrong, the sprinkles of peanut brittle were the highlight. Great service, and gorgeous eye candy staff too ;) Not as much booth seating, lots of 4-seaters in the main dining room. Always appreciate a restaurant that offers happy hours, who understands marketing and most importantly, cash flow ;) Amex all good. Believe it or not, that’s not a misspelling, owner’s actual last name.

Went to the indoor gun range and looked up this place on Unilocal, which was a short drive away. Like that it was open late. Vibe seemed similar to that of a Cactus Club. Service was off the charts amazing. We had two servers continually check up on us. Or it could be a server and her manager. I even had my no-ice lemon water refilled — properly by them giving me a new glass with no-ice lemon water(instead of refilling from a pitcher with ice). Food was pretty good too. We ordered the«fries underneath the bridge» appetizer which had salt and vinegar in it. I order the fried chicken sandwich which was juicy and very nice.

Oh Goodness! Nothing but rich yummy goodness in a hot pan melting the vanilla ice cream that sat on top! Just this desert is worth the commute for those of you not nearby and if you are close to this gem of a place, what are you waiting for??? Run for it before the ice cream melts away.

Went to Orrange for the first time the other night with my hubby for our date night. The décor was unique, warm and inviting. The menu was unique, and had a lot of items with interesting spins. Our server was great, attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Drink menu looked amazing but I was driving, so I did not sample as much as I would have liked. We have the halibut and chips. We upgraded to these incredibly delicious fries that were infused with malt vinegar. YUMMY … and why

When I visit a new place, I tend to base the number of stars on whether I’d go back. Orrange fell into the«I might go back if others are already going. I don’t have a say in where we go, but I I want to hang out with them.» Our server was nice. She was quick to visit our table and introduce herself. Our drinks were always checked on and that’s what didn’t fit: when we were ready to order or receive the bill she was nowhere to be found for long stretches. Uncomfortably long. Before leaving, we ended up paying at the bar after the bartender tracked her down for us. The food was okay. I got pulled pork flatbread that didn’t have the amount of pulled pork I’m used to on flatbread at comparable places(The Charles, for example). Tasted all right. 1.75 stars. My girlfriend got a beef dip. That was quite good. 4 stars. Prices were a little higher than I liked. I think Earl’s is probably a better value for similar, well, everything. Food, drinks, décor.

Just stopped by for lunch. I’ll have to say I was skeptical about coming here due to its association with Brown’s so I thought I was gonna get another typical cactus club/browns experience. This place tries to be a tad different and I commend them for it! As soon as you walk in Nice interior, fancy enough to feel like you’re downtown, rugged enough to know you’re in Poco is how I can explain it best. Great open concept for socializing I expect this place will be lively at nights. A lot of TVs for the suburb sports junkies. The servers have a jeans and converse runner dress code too which is different than the cactus club style(you decide if that is good or not haha). Food. We had the pineapple wok squid, chilli lime chicken for starters and a couple entrée salads(thai noodle with seared tenderloin and the albacore tuna salad) The wok squid totally reminded me of the famous wok squid at Carderos! Flavors were there but the dish needed a tad more seasoning, we had to sprinkle a little salt to bring out the flavors(garlic, ginger, chillies). Would have liked to see the pineapple grilled opposed to tossed in the pan(would have added nice color with the grill marks and flavor with the grilled taste). I was was overall happy to get this dish here in Poco. Chilli lime chicken. Here’s where they try to be different. Instead of the usual deep fried chicken cubes drenched in sweet chilli sauce and tossed with crispy wontons, they grilled the chicken(and it was well executed, chicken was moist, pieces were perfect size). They also serve this with jasmine rice topped with black and white sesame seeds. The chicken is also drenched in the same sweet chilli. Now looking back though not sure where the lime came in play. Albacore tuna salad. For about $ 15 the salad looked a little small and lacking creativity. The tuna was a little dry(might not have been as fresh) but cooked perfectly. Salad was very mediocre with the usual avocado, mango, spring mix and vinaigrette. I was hoping for a little more creativity, at least like toasted nuts or something. The tuna could have used some sort of aioli drizzled on top due to hide the dryness. Thai noodle salad. The gf had this dish and I would have the identical criticisms bout this dish as with the tuna salad. The seared beef also could have been seasoned more to bring out its flavor amongst the sweet and tangy salad. The salads are probably not their forte and we should have tried different entrees but it was lunch and we didn’t feel that hungry. They have beef wellington on the menu which interests me. They also have a few dishes that are unique(demonstrates their efforts to separate themselves from the cactus club style menu). Overall will be back and hope to see this place flourish
