$ 7.99 for a burrito… thats ok. but at this specific location if you want chicken or shredded beef they charge you $ 1.00 extra. wtf… no other location does that. its not even about the $ 1… its the fact the owner is some cheap POS and put up little pieces of cardboard up saying $ 1 extra. how about you change ur sign that all burritos are $ 8.99 so you guys dont look like such cheap idiots. wont be coming back to this location. it also bothers me they call the pico de gio (i dont know ho its spelled), salsa… thats not salsa. anyways. nuts to this place. mucho burrito is better anyways and just down the street.

I’ve been coming here since we moved to PoCo. It’s in a quiet plaza near Lougheed Hwy with a good mix of retail, restaurants and service establishments. So far I’ve only tried the Baja Burrito with and without the «smother». My favorite combination of burrito goodness is the chicken with pinto beans and hot sauce (not the reaper, way too HOT for me!) The rice is nicely spiced and tender and adds a great texture to the burrito. The pinto beans give the burrito a creaminess that complements the heat from the sauce. The fresh tomato salsa lifts the burrito and the shredded chicken is seasoned well and is not dry. The chips and queso is a perfect side where the queso is real creamy melted jack cheese with jalapeño. (I sometimes add a bit of the queso in my burrito when my taste buds demand it!)

Seriously used to be one of my go-to places nearby for burritos. now prices have gone way up and portion sizes have gone way down.
What used to be a big burrito for the money now gets a tiny scoop of beans and an even smaller scoop of protein while they charge extra now for chicken or shredded beef. A regular sized chicken burrito is 9 bucks with no guac and before tax. And its not even a full meal anymore considering how much they cut their portion sizes! Highway robbery considering a HUGE fully loaded burrito with guac and any protein you waknt and grilled veggies and better toppings period, tax included at Much burrito is 9.19 and there is one opening up just up the road beside Walmart next week.
I’m tired of constantly being disappointed here and being gouged for it. I’ll be heading up the road to Mucho from now on.

Service was less than desired. Not enough beans in taco salad with way too much lettuce; even though I asked for very little lettuce. Chicken was COLD on the salad and in burrito. Only ate it because it was my only meal of the day (starving) probably good enough for a mutt. Shell of taco salad tasted like flower and cant get the flavor out of my mouth. If I could give half a star I would. I’m sure even the staff there don’t eat the food…

they were asking me what I wanted to order the second I got my foot in the door. I scrambled to read their menu while she stared at me impatiently. Soft tacos were stale and the meat was cold. The beans were good and so was the salsa but I just felt like a nuissance from the moment I walked in the door and they rushed to get me out of there… and I was the only customer in sight.

Update alert: now the other one started charging extra chicken. such a rip. Its worth it if you get a burrito or something, cause its just $.50… but if you get say, 3 tacos… its $.50 per taco! ruh-tarded. Man I missed Unilocaling!

Oh Taco Del Mar… how I love thee so.
My favourites are the Mondito shredded beef burritio (I find the Mondo burrito too freaking HUGE) and the Fish Taco.
I gotta say, don’t be afraid of fish and taco mingling, It may sound odd, but man… it’s tasty stuff. I prefer mine without beans, otherwise it’s very yummy.
