Dover Dairy Bar

Dover Dairy Bar is a solid, locally supported diner that offers great food at low prices, with friendly service. We take the kids here for breakfast on weekends; there is lots of variety on the menu. The «Dairy Bar» is a bit of a local legend, since the Who’s Who of Port Dover establishment drink coffee here. It’s likely where most of the town’s rumours begin their life!

A pleasant surprise in the heart of Port Dover!
The price’s were very reasonable. Your typical two egg breakfast was around $ 3. Normally when i see a price like that, i think bad quality but boy, was i wrong. I thought the food was delish. I had scrambled eggs and they were cooked to perfection. Instead of bacon, they gave me a few tomato slices upon request. The hash browns were also quite tasty.
The service was great, and the staff were quite friendly. The interior could be re-​vamped but i thought it was a very vintage look and enjoyed it. The only thing i wasn’t overly fond of, was the no outside beverage rule. I wasn’t expecting to find a restaurant so quick, so i had gotten Tim Hortens. The waitress/​hostess was kind enough to let my partner and I bring in the beverages, but we were unable to drink them.
