Olympus Burger

One of the best restaurants in the area.
They have a variety of burger options all with greek themed names. You can also choose a-​la-​carte if none of the burger options are appealing and you get your choice of bun. The burger itself is made with fresh meat (you can always tell) and the vegetable toppings were generous and fresh. I am a traditionalist and think they best hamburgers are simple ones, however, at Olympus Burger they have a perfect balance of simplicity and gourmand to good effect
Their french fries are thick and tasty. Often times with fries like this they taste greasy or like a deep-​fryer. These were crisp and actually taste like potatoes — the way they should! I’ve also had a side greek salad that was made with really fresh greens and a nice light olive-​oil dressing. Enjoy a Mill Street beer while you’re there to top off the meal!
George the owner is a really friendly guy and is almost always working. You can tell he takes pride in what he does and really cares that you have a good experience. I would highly recommend Olympus Burger if you’re in the area. There aren’t many great burger places like this, let alone in Port Hope.

The burger was very impressive, very delicious. The restaurant is very clean with Greek style. I will come over in the future when I have chance.

Heading back from Cobourg and feeling like having a burger we found Olympus Burger on Unilocal.
All good reviews was a good sign and we weren’t disappointed!

On our way back from Toronto, we decided to stop by this place for lunch based on the few Unilocal reviews. I’m glad we did! Not only it made us discover the beautiful downtown of Port Hope, the burgers were actually really good.
Everything was fresh, the toppings were great, and all this for a very reasonable price. Bonus points for the guy that came asking us if everything was to our satisfaction despite being a counter service restaurant.
We’ll definately be back in Port Hope to explore the city, and for another burger!

A great place to enjoy some real burgers! no secondary to any famous burger joint in downtown Toronto. Friendly staff, cute menu! I’m really glad that I didn’t stop at any McDonald’s just for convenience and drove all the way to here!

Omg! Worthen drive from Toronto. If you are going east on 401 through Port Hope take the second exit Ontario St and head south into town. Way better than anything off the highway. In fact as good as any of the top burger joints in Toronto.

I REALLY like this place. It’s so nice to see something new and original in Port Hope, try a pint of red sky ale while you’re there.

Best Burgers in Port Hope!!! The burgers are fantastic! The owner is super friendly and always welcomes my family! He is happy to do whatever it takes for us! The poutine is amazing and every burger we have had is wonderful! LOVE IT!

Great little burger joint!
The burger buns were soft and fresh, the toppings were fresh, the beef patty was well cooked, and the sweet potato fries were great. Was looking for a non-​fast food burger experience and this one hit the spot. Service was fast and friendly, ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would go back again!

Really good quality for such a small town. The servers were friendly and quick. Decent number of veggie options. Only complaint is the veggie burger could maybe use some more spices; wasn’t very flavourful. Still, a really nice addition to Port Hope.

Fantastic! A great place with a really inviting atmosphere, the servers and staff are very nice and welcoming. The burgers are of a much higher class than anything you would expect from what was once an old KFC (very snazzily renovated.) All of the menu items are aptly named after Greek gods, the different burgers’ toppings decided by the characteristics of the god it was named for. I had the Hades burger, topped with jalapeños and red peppers, that were pickled in house. The fries were fantastic and made in store, reminded me of a really good fish and chip place style of fry.
Also they have a really cool contest called the Labour of Hercules. This contest looks really neat, it’s an extremely hot burger, and if you finish it you get a T-​Shirt and the pride of winning and getting you picture up on the Facebook page! I am excited to try it on my next visit.
Overall a great place to check out, a great value, and I can’t wait to go back!

Awesome place!
We arrived somewhat late for a small town (915pm??) with a large group of about 16 weary basketball players.
The reception was warm and very welcoming despite the fact that I am pretty sure they were likely wrapping up their work day.
Service was excellent, fast and friendly.
Food was terrific. Fresh and interesting for a burger place. Its all in the little touches. Good variety too, as I am not a red meat eater, and still had lots to choose from (but meat eaters were very happy too!).
I had a salmon burger with sweet potato fries. Salmon was a fresh filet, not a manufactured patty (nice!) and fries came with a lovely chipotle mayo for dipping.
As a small business owner in the food industry, I would give this place 5 stars for service, and quality of food– highly recommend it!
