Had the black bean noodles and kang poon kl(deep fried chicken). Both dishes were great. We were a party of 2 and there were lots of chicken left over. The staff were friendly — seemed like a family operated restaurant.

Friends told me of this great little Korean spot and I finally tried it tonight. I’m not familiar with this food and opted to try Kungpao Beef and veggie chow mein. Crispy veggies, sprouts etc made the noodles really shine and the beef dish was just the right amount of spicy(pick out those red hot peppers if you’re not a lover of crying when you eat!!) I’ll certainly be back and can finally stop going to Gourmet Chinese in Port Moody just ’cause it’s convenient.

Great food and waitress are friendly! Best eggplant and tofu we ever had, we always make sure to order it on every visit. Kang poong ki is the bomb, a bit spicy which we like… sooo good!!! We didn’t like the creamy shrimp though, it’s too sweet and pretty expensive… not worth it!

Great little find in Port Moody. I’ve heard of this place while looking at some Korean webpage before. They had ad saying $ 2.99 Jajangmyun(black bean noodle, promo price for a limited time I think) and I really had to check out this place with my sister. It was busy when we got here around 2pm and took us about 45mins bus ride from Metrotown. We were lucky finding seats during the busy hour and didn’t have to go through a line up, yay. Had to wait 10 mins to place an order and 2 servers were very busy with other tables. Service was fast and courteous. We ordered black bean noodle, sweet and sour pork(tang soo yuk) and spicy seafood noodle(Jjampong). Noodle was okay and not handmade in the restaurant. It tasted like packaged noodle from grocery store. Black bean noodle and seafood noodle were good. Black bean noodle had lots of pork and veggies mixed into it. It was really good. Besides I love how there was plentiful of seafood in seafood noodle like clams, squid, shrimp and soup was very flavourful and spicy. As for Tangsooyuk(sweet and sour pork) it was soft and yummy. I have to say the portion of their food is so big. It’s totally worth the visit. We often pay over $ 30 for Korean-Chinese food and Blue China has the reasonable price to offer. In the end we couldn’t even finish seafood noodle and Tangsooyuk and took some left over Tangsooyuk(sweet and sour pork) home. I’d come back again on the weekend perhaps.

We have been living in Port Moody now for 3 years, and have been somewhat jaded at the lack of decent restaurants. Tonight we wandered into Blue China after coming off the WestCoast Express train and hit gold! Service was sincere and sweet; a+ for clean table and surroundings right down to the condiment containers. We were served complimetary pickled veggies to begin, and our 2 chicken dishes and shrimp fried rice arrived shortly afterwards. The pics say it all! Plating was gorgeous, and plentiful for $ 12.50 each. Flavours were nicely developed, with some heat too. They modified 2 dishes to exclude soy for my gluten intolerant tummy. I strongly recommend, we were genuinely pleased!

Went again and every table was taken with 4 groups in front of us. Almost all patrons were of Korean decent. We waited about 10 – 15 mins. We ordered right away and the food came out promptlyz Once again the food was plentiful and tasty except for the Ja Jang Mein. The Ja Jang Mein was kinda tasteless Toni’s despite its rich dark brown colour.
