Amazing quality meat with top notch service. Will never buy meat from IGA or Safeway again.

Nice grass fed meat and other selections. It’s nice to have a place that has high quality but products. Prices are not the cheapest but you get what you pay for!

I’ve come here a couple of times. I can say that it has become my go to place for buying meat. They have a selection of free range grass fed steaks. They are amazing. Also they have great quality chicken and pork. The staff is sooo friendly and very knowledgable about all the products. They make the sausage in house. I bought a whole chicken and they cut it up for me how I wanted it

I just needed a quick bite so I poked my nose into the shop to see if there were any gluten free/lactose free options. Lo & behold, there were! Grabbed a pepperoni to munch and gawked into the deli window at the nice salads and picnic-ables then stared into the freezer at the meat pies. Ohhh, meat pies… what I’d give… ! Grabbed a couple of biz cards for our friends that recently moved into the area. A very nice area, too. No lack of community around there.

Goerge’s opened in the former Newport Village Meats and is already surpassing all of my expectations from it’s predecessor. They have a solid selection of butchered meats with some great pre-seasoned items that are all made in-house. I’ve bought a number of steaks, pork chops, chicken breasts and kebabs here and they have all been tasty and reasonably priced. They also have a little deli counter with the most delicious greek-style potatoes(great on the grill in a veggie basket) and a bow-tie pasta salad that is TODIEFOR. In their freezer case they have terrific frozen pies(not sure where they come from) and they still carry the Vig’s Rangoli packages which are such a great dinner side dish. The best part about this butcher is that they have great daily & weekly specials and are so much more reasonably priced than the old butcher was. The co-owner is often in the shop when I’ve stopped by and he, like all of their staff, is knowledgeable and friendly. We’ve had a few discussions about yummy marinades and summer salads as they are always looking to expand on their available product base.
