Wedding Story

Leeah of Wedding Story is an amazing make-​up artist& hair stylist. I was recommended by my friend who had her makeup done by Leah and after just one trial, I went with her right away. I had several makeup trials with different mua’s located in Vancouver for my wedding, but none could make it look as natural as she could and who understood my facial features. She also helped me with the makeup& hair for two of my four seasonal engagement photo sessions (remaining two were out of the country).
Everyone also complimented on my mom and my mother in law’s makeup& hair.
She is very friendly and extremely supportive as well on your wedding day. She was encouraging me and lightening the mood from morning through evening. I’m extremely thankful.

Planning a wedding can be a stressful experience. There are so many elements to consider (i.e. flowers, cake, wedding photo, dress, tux, make-​up, hair, etc. The list goes on) and it can be daunting and scary at times. Wedding Story provides a total package and helps eliminate unnecessary worries and streamlines the process, so the bride and the groom can enjoy their special day.
I was traveling quite a bit for work while planning my wedding and didn’t have time to look at multiple vendors to decide. Also, I didn’t want to have to worry about details on the wedding day. Wedding Story provides a thorough service from cake to dress. I was very happy with their services, specifically:
One-​stop shop: Wedding Story provides all wedding related services. The goal is to make the wedding day less stressful and to have one point of contact for all details, so the bridal party doesn’t have to fret over the details on the day of the wedding. This saved me lots of time and unnecessary stress on the wedding day.
Dress/​tux rental: I didn’t want to have to buy a wedding dress that I will wear once and pay hefty price for it. Wedding Story has a great selection of wedding dresses and they always stock up new styles, so I was able to rent an elegant dress for the wedding day. The rental option also meant that I was able to wear 3 different dresses (2 for the pre-​wedding studio shot and 1 for the actual wedding day). What bride doesn’t want multiple options for the photo-​op?
Make-​up and hair: This was one of the strongest point for choosing Wedding Story. There is a make-​up artist who will accompany the bride throughout the wedding day for touch-​up and also to make sure the bride is picture ready at moment’s notice.
Wedding photo/​video package: Wedding Story has a studio where the couple can take pre-​wedding photos (this helps, if you want to take some wedding shots in advance to save time on the wedding day). They also provide photo/​video packages. The package also includes photo album and prints. The photo albums came out great (I had a large album for ourselves and 2 couple table albums for both sides of parents). The quality is superb and the binding was very solid.
Post wedding process: They got back to me promptly after the wedding and the photo/​video package was ready on time.

I don’t know why Unilocal filter my review about wedding story again.
I posted my review to share my experience with new couple who have a hard time to find good wedding vendors.
I got married on September last year. We used most of wedding services in wedding story; photography, video, dress and tuxedo rental, flower, décor and makeup and hair.
We loved them! Staff were so professional and friendly.
We don’t need to deal with each vendors it made my big day easier and relax.

— suit selection for men were very poor. short in length even after alterations, baggy in all the wrong places and styles were dated.
–video quality was terrible.
1) background music was inappropriate (sounded like a bobby dance party).
2) messages to bride and groom from only some of the wedding party and 1 set of parents
3) when there was no music, sound quality was bad; and you couldn’t hear what they were saying
4) some parts looked like video guy from blair witch project was holding the camera. blurred in and out and vigorous back and forth from one person to the next.
5) speeches were dubbed over completely with the same bobby dance party by accident.
6) dvd labels had the groom’s name spelled wrong! not like they added an e at the end or forgot an extra L… they got the first LETTER of the name wrong!!!
7) was promised replacement labels with the right name and they were never received.
–no photos at all of bride in 2^nd dress except for side and back views.
–1 two sided spread of the album had a photo repeated.
— photos are so airbrushed that the bride and groom look completely different. the noses look melted into the face and freckles were not faded but completely erased. even the armpits were smoothed and had no lines whatsoever.
in conclusion — the groom only watched ½ of one dvd and has refused to watch the rest because he says it’s ruining his memory of the event.
