Cool feel and great staff but the food is more like 3.5 stars. Their poutine was one of the best things I ate during my whole trip, but I couldn’t even finish the burger. My wife got the pizza and it was a bit lackluster too. Nothing sucked, but the main courses could use some flavor. Get the poutine and you won’t be disappointed.

The place has a great atmosphere. The food is amazing. I had the blood pudding on the advice of our waiter and I couldn’t have been happier. I’ve never had that dish before. It was light and fluffy. The cranberries complimented the blood pudding. The beers on tap were super yummy. If you do a shot at the bar they will light a fire and ring a bell which is fun, haha. All-in-all it was a great experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Quebec.

Terrible service, average food & vaguely overpriced. This place only runs as it’s located in old port Quebec. They as well add service charge without asking.

We were walking around old Quebec city as it started to rain. Landed in this little gem. It is quite cozy inside with a musky wood smell as the inside is like a cabin. We ordered a stuffed portobello appetizer and the duck Mac and cheese. Both were amazing! The duck Mac and cheese was probably the best I’ve ever had, only con to this restaurant would be that it is quite pricey for the small portions.

We came here for beers and a meal, decided to try the appetizer deal– 5 for $ 40. Very underwhelming meal. Onion rings– deep fried but soggy, served with ginger lemon honey dip that was something I would rather make tea with. Sausages– what seems to be unexpectedly deep fried hot dog wieners(served in a basket with a fowl sauce that we could not determine the taste for) Salmon carpaccio– best dish we had, worth ordering if you like smoked salmon Calamari– doused in paprika and salt and served with ranch dressing of some kind. Crab cake– tasty, nice to enjoy with the arugula but fell apart completely. There was no «cake» effort but rather a spoonful of crab cake ingredients served on salad. We waited 15 min to be seen by our waitress where the place only had three other tables. Would avoid this place if it weren’t for the $ 5 pints of beer.
