This location no longer exists as «Cork’d.» It’s The Tilted Kilt. I have done a new review that establishment under that name.

Average bar on side street in Red Deer. Kind of modern inside. Open. Mid sized with U shaped bar counter in the middle with seating area around it. Medium sized seating areas on left and right of bar counter. Only 2 staff working Wed evening and next afternoon. Quiet. They have TV screens. Pints start at $ 6 and up so not cheap. Bartender gal with the piercings took her time serving me as she was chatting with the girls and another girl had to tell her she had a customer, sigh! She doesn’t know how to pour either as there was over an inch head on my supposedly 20oz pint. Place doesn’t seem well run compared to others. Bartender not personable. Washrooms are newly renovated though. A notch below Bo’s bar in quality, size and atmosphere. Ok I suppose but note to management: let staff know that they are in the service industry and unhappy customers aren’t good for business. If Bo’s is full u can come here as it is roughly across the street.

Went out with a friend to go to Bo’s but we forgot that it was wing night and therefore way too crowded. We decided to go across the street to this place. I thought it looked too expensive(it looks rather fancy when you walk in) but it is just a nice ambiance… it was actually comparable to the pricing at Bo’s for food and beer. I had their side salad, which was gigantic and delicious! My friend had the Nachos, which were great as well. We shared a pitcher of Raspberry beer(I forget the brand, I think it’s the only one they serve) and it was flavorful. They have a ton of choices for beer. The place was pretty busy but not too loud. A lot of young people aged 18 – 28 were there. they had some wing specials as well. I’m hoping to try the wings next time.
