DeSerres

I have never been to DeSerres before. I was at Future Shop and decided to drive across the large parking lot to get there.
I got a two-​headed Itoya calligraphy pen for $ 3. It is comparable to other art stores. They have Speedball and Sheaffer calligraphy pens, too.
There were also some good storage containers on sale, but I don’t need any!
The woman cashing me out was nice, despite the wailing child who was at it for five minutes by the time I got to her.
I would go back again to explore some more, but this pen should keep me busy for a bit!

Came here as a scrapbooking buddy recommended it to me. DeSerres is a arts and craft store similar to Michaels & Currys but I think the prices are ever so slightly inflated depending. It is definitely best to come when things are on sale. Sign up via email to get the coupons! DeSerres has sections for frames, books, paper, paints, pen/​markers, desks, scrapbooking, jewellery etc.
I was particularly interested in looking at their markers & pencil crayons. However, they did not carry the brands I was interested in (Copics & Prisma). But they had other brands similar however (promarker and such). I did come out w/​a handy pencil crayon holder (to carry my 100!) It was approximately $ 19 which isn’t a bad investment. The staff were friendly and the guy in the portfolio department tried to help me locate the product I was looking for. In the end I found it myself in another aisle. Don’t give up if ur looking for something in particular!
I will probably be back. But location wise, Michaels & Currys is still closer to me.
