I am so disappointed :(
the reviews are deceiving on the internet, but I should have known. It was not from Unilocal. We took our colleague’s advice and went to this location and was sorely disappointed.
This restaurant is too Canadianized — it was empty when we got there. But we took a chance and ate there, because there were no other good restaurants around. Also, we all like to suppor mom and pop owners, so…
The owner is VERY nice and cute… but was sitting in the kitchen for a while before she came out. I had to holla for a while for her to know that there are customers waiting outside.
The food — so not worth my stomach. They did not even have fresh chili oil or hot sauce. I asked for hot chili and she brought out to go packets of chili and hot mustard.
So disappointed but if you have not been spoiled by San Jose or Santa Clara or BAY AREA Chinese authentic food, then this restaurant may be ok for you. I was just disappointed.
