My student-grade French Horn broke and I needed a repair. When Long & McQuade, one of the big chain retail/rental musical instrument shops, turned me down because it was an off-brand that their warranty couldn’t cover, I was stuck. Harmony Music was able to fix my stuck tuning slide and broken solder points. Sasha was able to give me an estimate up front that was accurate and had the horn ready when he said it would be. He explained what needed to be done — and with regular or silver solder — and what would put the horn back in its original condition but might not be worth doing. In a time when cheap brass instruments are available and the cost of repair can outstrip the replacement cost, I was glad to be able to get an excellent, affordable repair to my French Horn.
