My oh my how the once mighty have fallen, during the suburban era of «ginos» and«ginas»…(don’t ask), Jean machine was the place where York Region teens would gather(regardless of which one) to essentially buy their entire wardrobe. At a time of limited differences between womens clothes and mens(due to things like overalls, flared denim and sequined shirts) Jean machine was the bees knees I would credit this brand, and potentially this location as being one of the reasons why Parasuco, Mavi and Silver jeans experienced success. This all said, as a guy you quickly realize that you’re a second class citizen here, and JM is specifically targeted towards the ladies — which is fine, it’s not my jam anymore. Jean Machine, specifically this location, loses points on customer service as their business model is volume and stick you in a change room with as many items as fast as you can before giving you innocuous and unsolicited validation on how said item looks great on you — when you can’t even get your leg in the jeans… but it looks«so cute». I’ve been here, I did it, I got too many t-shirts. I’m done
