My sister and I stumbled upon this place coming home from our dentist appointment. We were very hungry, and were drawn in by a sign that advertised two sandwiches for 7.99– in Mississauga, you can’t buy a kabob sandwich for less than 5.99 at the cheapest! When we entered, we saw that the place was rather small, with a television propped up playing Persian music. The owner was very quick to take our order, and even made suggestions when we seemed unsure as to what to pick. Everything looked delicious and the prices were so affordable that I considered coming back for dinner(I didn’t, I live too far away but I’ll be back). The owner is such a friendly man, and despite never having met him before in my life, he went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable– and he did the same for the others who came in. Now, the food is absolutely delicious! He makes the best koobideh kabob I’ve had in a long time, and that’s saying a lot because I frequent Persian restaurants. The sauces and meat are flavourful, all the vegetables are crisp, and the bread was nice and warm. I noticed everyone coming in was buying a kabob-and-rice plate, and I have to say the variety on the menu was refreshing when I’m used to just seeing koobideh kabob and chicken thighs in other places. Definitely stop by if you’re in the neighbourhood, don’t be deceived by the looks of the place from the outside. The food is amazing!
