Neat little hole in the wall in Steveston. They’ve a huge selection of new and used cd’s as well as specialty British media that you wouldn’t find elsewhere. They also have some LP’s and the odd foreign magazine now and then too so when I’m in the area, I always make it my goal to take a quick boo of the place.

This place is a little tucked away near Steveston warf, however, as a music fan like myself this was a hidden gem. The store is narrow and small and even though the selection is hit or miss it’s pretty ballsy for them to open shop in a district that may not have walk in traffic of die hards but rather the curious. Either way the guy at the shop with the charming British accent was very helpful in answering some questions about a specific Metric album I was eying. Once you get your fish and chips from the dock… you can continue to English tradition with some music. They’re very heavily themed on English music but there is still a sampling from different genres.

Nifty little specialty vinyl shop. Has the odd assortment of new additions from the indie catalogue, some great oldies, and lots of British kitsch. Pretty far off the beaten path, but that’s part of its charm. British records should always precede fish and chips anyhow.
