This isn’t quite a reflection on the food but more for those pesky irritating rotating menus that are not static enough to let me figure out what I want. Even the staff at pretty much every location I’ve been to don’t like it. Unless you happen to be a millennial who can read the menu, surfer the web and text at the same time while ordering food face planted into their smart phone and Snapchatting a video about their food selection with a few selfies thrown in between. For me, I can’t do that. I feel old and of course take my time in a fast food restaurant when figuring out what to order. I complicate things and even though they don’t advertise it. I like to get it my way. No salt on fries, add a burger patty to the filet-o fish. Tea black, salad but don’t need the dressing, etc. But before I can get there. Even when I already know what to order. I still like to double check the menu, just in case I want to change my mind. Just in case there is something new or my tastebuds sense an apple pie in my to order radar. How much is that pie? Hmmmm I might be on a budget and trying to figure what else I can squeeze out of my order. I can’t do that if the menu changes like an Attention deficit prepubescent about to burst from an overly infectious fully bloated bladder and the bathroom door is locked, occupied. Please help us poor people who aren’t cognitively quick about finding menu items in small font on a flickering screen that seems like 50 feet away. I want to order my Big Mac with unsalted fries and hold the ketchup and extra mustard please in a side container. When you fix the menus, I’ll give you back your 3.5 stars. Maybe even a 4⁄5? Yours truly Fast food foodie Laurie

This McDonald’s has the worst customer service in Richmond. I do not recommend this location and rather go to the one on No.3 and Granville.

Unlike most of the reviewers here I actually like McDonald’s usually. Mc griddles are bomb. Anyway I got a hot cakes and hash brown today and the whole thing came with no butter or syrup or ketchup. I was rather disappointed but because it was drive through I was already home by the time we noticed. I guess I’ll just have to remind them next time.

Worst service ever! Hadn’t been there for months due to the terrible staff. They cancel the screen order before your food is served. and you wait. and wait. Nothing happens until you ask for a manager. Same thing happened today, FOUR people in line behind me got their order before I did(same thing, burgers & fries). Then got cold food! Perhaps I look ethnic or something? Recommend doing the drive-through(walk up to the window, it’ll be faster than going inside). Lousy, LOUSY service — bar none!

This McDonald’s is similar to all the rest of it’s identical chain. Nicely renovated insides that feature Wi-Fi, flat screen TV’s, open fountain bar for unlimited refills for dine-in patrons, lots of generally clean seats and tables, and pleasant generic nature-esque paintings. Nothing too out of the ordinary here. Venture out of this McDonald’s and you’ll find yourself in the mini Blundell shopping mall that can cater to your Shopper’s Drug mart, Starbucks, Subway, Liqour, Safeway, Kin’s market, and other dining fixes — if you’re not satisfied with your McDonald’s stop.
