Qoola was my favorite, always so fresh and great quality. I don’t know why it shut??? Does anyone know if there are any open in the lower mainland anymore. You can tell the Quality of Yogurt was so much better then Menchies. BTW Menchies doesn’t even let you see their ingredients? Strange. Anyways Qoola, I love you, where did you go?

This place at Aberdeen is OK. There isn’t that many flavors and topping is limited. I guess its food court, so its understandable. However, I have been to Menchie’s(in Toronto) which had SO many different flavors, and you also can help yourself to try some of the flavors by yourself, instead of asking stuff to help you.

Yay, welcome back Qoola to Aberdeen! Ever since the big froyo movement in California a couple years ago, I’ve tried many different shops and become very selective(my fav is still Pinkberry). I am happy to say that Qoola gets my 4 stars! Even though it’s converted to weigh and pay now, the quality of the froyo remains. The yogurt is still tart and thick as ever! Runny yogurt is the worst and Qoola’s definitely isn’t. They had 4 flavors from you to choose from — not sure how often they rotate the flavors although I’m sure original remains. lots of side toppings to choose from with some unique toppings such as red bean & condensed milk(add this on your green tea froyo and it’s like a North American twist to Taiwanese shaved ice hehe). Price is reasonable and staff is extremely friendly!

Qoola has finally converted — Weight and Pay! Allowing you to choose the flavour and amount of fro yo to put into your huge cup(you can do twist flavours too — original & match, chocolate & mango) and add as many and whichever toppings you want! Release your inner beast and let you imagination go with flavor combos! They have all types of freshly cut fruits(strawberries, blackberries, mangoes, dragonfruit, kiwi, etc) and other toppings like cinnamon toast crunch, Oreos, yogurt chips, Mochi, strawberry sauce, etc. — all at your disposable. The rate goes at: $ 1.59/100g If you’re not in the mood for fro yo(never the case for me) they also provide: organic waffles, specialty drinks, smoothies, and coffee. Service is friendly and efficient too. Hoorah for Qoola!

Qoola is no Pinkberry or Red Mango. That being said, I still find Qoola is the best fro yo in Vancouver, hands down. The fact that it opens within 10 minutes of my apartment deserves another half star.

Ooo la la indeed. This place has some delicious yogurt and the price is pretty reasonable. It’s nice to see froyo has finally made its way to Canada(as I don’t recall it being a huge trend here last time I spoke with a friend who visited Canada). They have a variety of different flavors and kind of remind me of Pinkberry’s except not as expensive after the exchange rate. They have samples and the staff is friendly and helpful when you ask questions about what kind of yogurt you can swirl. I think in the end with places like this that serve only a select few varieties, plain is always good. Qoola is more of a tarty yogurt place so I LOVE their plain. Not as creamy as red mango tho …

I have officially stopped eating ICECREAM and have converted to a life of FROYOLOVING all because of QOOLA. It changed me… forever! The first time I tried it was on Denman and then made regular trips from Richmond to satisfy my craving of live active cultures! BUT thank God for rapid expansion into Richmond that whatever I save on my gas costs I can contribute to my Qoola fund. My favorite is always plain — because you can dress it up with strawberries, mochi, marionberry syrup or dress it down with some cocoa pebbles, bananas, or caramel sauce. Once in a while I’ll walk on the wild side and mix my plain Qoola with a flavor of the month — this month its Cheesecake — pure perfection. I have a major crush on the Green Tea froyo but save it for special occasions — IE. after a 30 min run on the treadmill! The staff are knowledgeable and offer samples of any flavor you like. On another high note — everything they use to serve their guests is biodegradable and they have clearly marked recycling and composting bins! It is a little pricier than you would expect from a quick desert BUT worth every penny when you consider their efforts at sustainability and the use of the freshest fruits and toppings.

Nutritious and delicious! I wish I lived in Vancouver, because I was blown away with the taste and value of Qoola fro yo! Most of the froyo in the Bay area stinks and noticed a powdery taste. You have to try the slush and the waffles. I can’t wait to go back to Vancouver to get my Qoola fix!

Meh. After having Pinkberry and Red Mango etc. Qoola was a lil disappointing. Maybe it was the swirl. But the texture just didn’t seem right! Call me a snoot but I like my fro yo a lil more creamy! :P
