i can usually get pretty good coffee here, but there are some baristas who work there that short you coffee or make it in a way that tastes absolutely horrible. it’s bad that i go here often enough so as i know which days to avoid the bad baristas.(usually tuesday afternoons and wednesday afternoon/evening if you’re curious) i only ever go through the drive through, mostly because parking there is a nightmare and it seems quicker than waiting inside. it’s really cramped; i felt almost claustrophobic whenever i’ve gone in. plus the employees walk through the store with the garbage cans for the dumpster and i think that’s gross. but eh, i’ll stick to the drive through and i’ll survive.

I come here often to study for exams or read or anything. This is my go-to Starbucks and perhaps that’s why I’m rating it so high. The staff is a familiar face and they always smile and are cheerful to work so I always find myself coming back. They’ve got a drive through which makes them extremely busy, and it’s not a huge branch to go running around so it can get noisy. But I tell ya, this branch makes some of the best iced soy green tea lattes in Richmond, lol. All the other branches make them too milky with not enough of the matcha powder.

This location was more of a grab and go situation. I just got hot water and a tea bag, nothing complicated, nothing rocket science. The lady at the til was friendly enough. They had limited pastries at the time, especially in the Bistro box department. They now carry a PBJ bistro box which is kinda cute.

This is the dirtiest Starbucks I’ve been in. Yes I know this is a busy store, but they do have their down times. I spent 3 days working here, 3 hours at a time and can count on one hand how many times the floor was swept or a table was wiped down. The soft chairs are full of spilled drink marks and the flies in this store are horrendous, don’t look at the ceiling above the drink bar. Drinks are made inconsistently here, some baristas know what they are doing while others will fill your cup ¾ full or ring in the free drink coupon that expires in a month as opposed to the one that expires in two days. Just to note the toasted graham latte smells better than it tastes… go for the pumpkin spice, it’s popular for a reason.

drive thru goes by fast but when I didnt mention I was using my freebie the girl snapped at me that I should have told her when I ordered… instore staff are rude and seem too only care about the drive thru orders.

Here for the holiday drink and to take notes as well as study. It is not the best place to study because the light is quite dim. Because the light is dim, the ambience seems a little more sentimental. This Starbucks is perfect for a catch up date and to hang around. I wouldn’t recommend studying here. If you do want to, I think the best time to come is after 5:30 pm, that’s when it gets less busy. Besides that, the drink is amazing ! The staffs are sweet and my drinks are always on point. I love that they make my drink half sweet too and it’s just what I wanted ! This Starbucks is my favorite in Richmond :)

The best Starbucks drive through in Richmond, convenient location, and usually a good level of staff. Nothing wow about the place, but has a good amount of seating and a small patio, facing the parking lot.

Nice place to hang while you are waiting to catch a movie. One of the larger location with drive thru. There are plugs almost at every table so if you are so incline to spend a longer time here, you will not run out of juice. Beware of parking, most spot right in front is 20 min but I have never seen anyone get towed.

Love the interior of this recently renovated Starbucks. Since many Starbucks are small, efficient use of space is a must. And this location really does that well. It can seat a total of 35 people with a combination of lounge chairs, bar type seating, and traditional tables for 2 or 4. WiFi: used to be excellent, but there’s been a few issues lately(I come here 3 or 4 times a week). It’s what prevented me from giving it 5 stars. Staff: Really good, friendly. Coffee: it’s Starbucks, you know the rest.

uh oh. and yes. I mean oh uh. Ummmmmmm Eeek Methinks not… The last three times here, I was not happy. On one occasion, half a latte, «wheres the coffee?» On another, I asked for non sweet, I got sweet and attitude when I complained? On another, nothing was availalble that I wanted. Today was the half price special for the tea latte’s and well, You get the half price deal AND half the quality. No Green Tea latte, so they suggested we try the China leaf tea which is ummm green and though not as strong, could be ok? No. As much as I love all things from China including my GF, I have to say no to this combination. 100% anticipation, but half the flavour for half the price. And a room full of staff wondering what next to do. What happened?

Starbucks with a drive thru! Woot! Although this one does have a drive thru, it’s been many times that my drink doesn’t turn out the way I want it to. Frappucino too watery, caramel macchiato with lots of foam,…I thought Starbucks was pretty standard, so that all their drinks should taste the same? Not in the case of this location. I would sacrifice drive thru for a better tasting drink.
