Opened in May of 2013. I discovered this while I was in the Steveston area looking for a bakery. Found the bakery, but I was in the wrong area, and I ended up exploring this instead. Small building offering local historians or people interested in the history of Vancouver/Richmond what these trams were all about. They were interurban trams that ran throughout the greater Vancouver Area from ~1902−1958. Interesting local history for those curious about it. You can climb into a fully restored tram and see how the locals commuted back then. There’s a back viewing area with seating so that you can watch historic video clips of the trams running in Vancouver/Richmond. For the kids, crayons and colouring pads with pics of a tram are in the back area. Friendly and knowledgeable staff that works here. Free of charge. Donations accepted.
