Sylvan Learning of Richmond

I came here for a good three months before transferring to the Champlain location since that one was closer to home.
I used to come here back in the day to get some extra help with Math and English and it was an awesome program. I appreciated that I got individual attention with 2 other students at a table. I learned math and reading at a different pace than what the teachers in high school were teaching. I understand that it is hard for a teacher of 30 — 40 to accommodate. It is $$ but my parents did invest in the program ’cause I really needed the help. I’m a visual learner and most the courses taught don’t adapt or compromise to how my brain works to interpret or learn things. I appreciated the individualized lesson plans. The better you do the more points you earn for prizes.
The prizes at this location were better as they had a wish list to request things that you had to earn points for.
