I think we can all identify when I say, you know that favorite jacket, dress, jeans or pair of dress pants that just don’t fit the way they could — if only they were nipped in more a the hips, if only the buttons were a little over to the right, if only… Whether you have a formal dress or suit that requires the trustworthy hands of an elite tailor, or your regular go-to’s that could use some tailor magic to show off your great new «bootcamp» butt, TK at TK Tailoring (Besides the Med Grill at Royal Oak) is truly excellent! TK herself is an expert dress and suit maker. She worked some last minute magic on my wedding dress (transforming it from «run of the mill» to «Parisian art-​nouveau» in a matter of 48 hours). On the opposite side of the spectrum, I have also taken a few pairs of dress pants (cheap mall variety included) to her for some tailoring and I am not kidding when I say, «The pants look like I paid top dollar for them!» They fit like couture clothing now. TK’s services are not cheap (not bargain basement cheap). They are not outlandish either. But what you are paying for is her talent, expert eye for fashion and detail, and professional manner. I view it this way: Can you imagine what kind of stellar deck an architect could build for you? Well if TK can make a suit from scratch, and she can, then she can make your clothes (whether quality or mall variety) look like they were made to fit your body. They also offer dry cleaning services.
