Zonespa is a day spa located about one kilometer from QC360, the main highway in this area. It is very clean and professional. There are three stages: hot, cold and relaxation. For hot, there are hot tubs, a moist sauna, and a dry Finnish sauna. For cold, there is a cold shower, a lake shower(or the lake itself), and a Nordic pool. For relaxation, there is a solarium and a yurt. Clients bring their bathing suits and sandals and spend less than fifteen minutes in a hot stage, about fifteen seconds in a cold stage, and then lie in the relaxation stage — where you can’t talk, by the way. After you’ve rested, you do it over again. We stayed for three hours at $ 37 Canadian. Actually, it was great, though I’m not sure why. Apparently it’s even better if you can immerse yourself in the Nordic pool and then jump in the hot tub. I couldn’t immerse myself but there was a pins-and-needle sensation while I was in the hot tub. I also had a massage, which was good but was probably not necessary on my first trip. I didn’t give it a higher score because I haven’t been to other spas. Overall, it was very enjoyable and relaxing, a well-spent three hours, and another reason to pack a bathing suit and flip-flops whenever you travel.
