Fritz Movie Theatre

I first experienced the Fritz theatre as a young girl many years ago during the Jurassic park première lets say atleast 15 years ago on a family vacation as a little girl. What I remember is a theatre that had airplane seats for seating and old school projectors where they forgot the audio for the first ten minutes. By no means is this theatre a VIP Cineplex Odeon, but for an island with a population just under 10 000 it serves a purpose and does it well, hence the 5 star review. Not all theatres can be compared equally. The outside looks like a town hall or church but walk inside after paying only 9 bucks for a movie and you will be surely impressed. I watched the wolverine today and was impressed with the comfortable theatre chairs. I asked the concession stand worker about the nice chairs and they said they just did a renovation and got a nice digital projector. The audio was impressive also. The movie and experience was enjoyable and I have to give credit where credit is due. This island theatre has progressed since the 90’s and entered the digital age nicely and kept the island charm at the same time. You won’t be disappointed if you catch a flick here!
