Prior to arrival, I wasn’t sure what to expect, and thus had somewhat low expectations. I was VERY surprised by this pleasant campground. The campsites are kept very clean. The staff is friendly when you encounter them, and unintrusive the rest of the time. The toilets are outhouses, but have been built and decorated in such a way that you’d never know it was just a hole in the ground. And the outdoor shower was great, albeit cold (but exactly what that day needed). The trail that runs through the campground leads to a great park, which in turn leads to Ganges, and is a nice, quiet stroll.
I would recommend this place to anyone staying on SSI, and not wanting to shell out for a B&B.
