Spa By Lenice

I received the worst massage of my life here — and it was horrendously overpriced, about $ 99C. The guy started late because he was busy chatting with another employee, but finished at the hour mark on the dot, eager to leave — so that $ 99C was for 40 minutes.
The massage therapist seemed to have no knowledge of human anatomy, only applying forceful strokes when his hands were around my neck or when his fingers were, it seemed, attempting to burst my internal organs. At one point he seemed to get his hands tanbled in my hair, somehow; I actually wondered, Is he trying to massage my hair for some bizarre reason? The worst thing about him was that he had no human touch; it was as if he had prosthetic hands, or hooks at the ends of his wrists. I simply cannot understand how he could possibly have been approved by the owner of this business.
Overall, this place was a nightmare and a rip-​off. There are apparently some good massage therapists on SSI, but my experience here was terrible. You have been warned.

The best massage EVER! And a newly renovated space right on the water.

My back was aching so I made an appointment for a massage. I arrived and was met by my therapist who never introduced herself. She took me to a room, gave me a very half hearted massage, ignoring my special request for lower back pain. At the end she asked me if I wanted a glass of water. I said yes. She walked out of the room and I never saw her again. No glass of water, no thank you have a nice day. Poor service for the price. I cannot recommend this place.

I found Spa by Lenice thru Google, and went in for my first ever gel nails. Lenice herself did the nails, and she did a fabulous job. The spa itself is right on the harbour, looking out over the marina. This adds to the ambience, of course. All the staff are incredibly friendly and relaxed, as are the customers. They offer manicures, pedicures and massage — plus a full line of natural cosmetic creams.
