While SSI Reel Action specializes in sightseeing tours and fishing charters, I used them as a water taxi service to Wallace Island. Kurt is a wonderful skipper and knows the waters surrounding Salt Spring Island very well. As a third generation Salt Spring Islander-​he knows the island well too. He is warm, friendly and very accommodating and loves to be out on the water and taking folks out on the water. His boat is a custom 24foot aluminum vessel with enclosed cabin and heater. We went out on some rough waters and Kurt and his boat made the ride fairly smooth. I highly recommend using his services to shuttle you out to the marine park at Wallace Island.
