I completely understand that Jewelry stores are just like any other business trying to make money, but Fine Gold Jewelers takes it far beyond this simple philosophy. I also understand that before you buy you should understand the terms of return/exchange, but Fine Gold Jewelers hardly has such a policy. Basically their philosophy is you buy it, you should keep it, cause if you try to return it we’ll give you the hardest time and you won’t get your money’s worth. They give you a store credit, which is fine, but when they were only too eager to negotiate with you when they wanted your cash, now they aren’t interested at all. And why would they be? They already have your money and so mission accomplished, now it’s your problem. They could offer you a deal prior to but now you have to pay the full price, only on the old non-selling items may a nice sales representative sell you the item without tax for example. And not to mention there is a time limit on your store credit, but they even state when your shopping that you have time so use it, that is before it expires and your money vanishes. One thing is for certain I won’t be returning to this store after I use my store credit. They have lost my business and I would not recommend them to anyone, they aren’t worth the hassle to deal with them.
