Before the Markham location was established, the closest Kitchen Stuff Plus for me was this one. I absolutely love this store. The other day, I was contemplating getting a spiralizer to make veggie noodles. I found a manual one that was on sale for $ 10. I also got a julienne peeler that does the same thing for the same price. Yep, I am in the low-carb bandwagon ever since I had zucchini noodles. I don’t even like that vegetable. The sauce did the trick. Okay, I am digressing… I can find neat kitchen and storage accessories at reasonable prices. I also subscribe to the store’s mailing list. I got a 20% discount off my peeler. There is plenty of parking here. I got a decent parking spot nearly in front of the main doors on a Saturday afternoon. In the checkout line, a woman behind told me that the spiralizer that I was about to purchase works well. I appreciated that endorsement. A few minute later, a former student approached her. It was such a heartwarming experience that she was recognized and appreciated after all these years. This teacher inspired me. She has been a teacher for thirty years. What I had witnessed made my day and I was thrilled to have met her briefly while waiting to pay for my items. I love this store. Great items. Great people. I learn a ton each time in there. (103)

If you want it… they have it! A teapot shaped like an elephant? Yup! Plushy bathmats that you can just say ooooooh when you sink your feet in. Yup! Every single kitchen gadget under the sun — yup, they have it here… and in every colour! There is always some sort of sale going on here so while some things are expensive, if you wait a bit it will be on sale. I love how the store is tidy and well stocked, I have yet to come in to get something in particular only to find out it is sold out. I would give it more stars but while the staff are certainly friendly, there isn’t enough of them on the actual floor(they are at the cash). Especially now since its the holidays and busy, finding help today was a challenge. I literally had to chase someone around the store and then I just gave up because I was working up a sweat… and really… no. This is a good place to get housewarming gifts as they have a lot of décor items as well(candles, picture frames, wall art, candle holders, etc etc).

Horrendous customer service and return policy. This store has never heard of reverse logistics and thinks it is still operating in the year 1871. I tried returning a defective appliance, but the uneducated rude manager refused to accept it back«because usually this unit does not have any problems». In other words, Kitchen Stuff Plus’ return policy is you cannot return ANY used items even if they are defective. Of course they don’t tell you that when you’re checking out. Wanna find out more about this senseless return policy? Get yourself a good pair of reading glasses and read the fine print. Anywhere you go: Costco, Walmart, Sears, The Bay, the return is completed with no questions asked. Disgusting.

It is really 2.5 stars. The truth is the store is well organized and the inventory looks cute and colourful. The stuffs are also unnecessarily expensive. Some of the stuffs are more expensive than Home Outfitters. I mean, really, you are more expensive than Hudson’s Bay? 0.5 stars for the store being a good place to hang around and browse and kill time. The 2 staffs hanged around the cashier the whole time we were in the store; they never bugged us once.

Good size to the store & it’s packed with stuff. I find this store a bit isolated as there isn’t much in the area. I got my food scale here & opted for the Star frit brand since the other ones looked kind of overpriced.

I could spend hours and my entire paycheque in this store. I love housewares, kitchen gadgets and basically anything to do with that stuff. It was pretty easy to find what I was looking for and the prices were pretty good. Parking is plentiful and easy.

I wandered in here since I was in the area. This store has a wide variety of stuff… Often they have cute things that I think I want to buy. This visit I was almost seduced by a brie baker, but my ever-practical BF was there to remind that I don’t really need one. Ha ha. They’ve got everything you need in your kitchen. They were having a sale on Henkels knives, but I haven’t done enough research to decide which knives to get yet. LIke Jennifer K says, the staff were really helpful.

Kitchen Stuff Plus just have awesome staffs! They always ask if I need any help whenever I visit the store. And they do sincerely try to help me find the stuffs I am looking for. Good selections of everything I need in the kitchen, I don’t need much… but has great selections of bar accessories which I need :) Promotions every week with email notifications if you sign up for their newsletter and sometimes online coupons that giving you % off one item. I love to dig around and look for discount… extra off is always good!

My favourite room in the house(other than my bedroom because I sleep like a champ), is the kitchen! They have a lot of neat stuff. I prefer to come here for all my kitchen essentials because the stuff they have is of good quality, and its trendy and modern. The store is pretty easy to navigate through. The prices are quite good, especially around the holidays and unlike some other places(Home Outfitters, Homesense), you can browse their product offerings online to cut down on time wasted in the store. They will even tell you if something is in stock(not down to the very last one, but that’s good enough for me!).

I love this store! Every time I’m in the area(with a car), I can’t help but to stroll in to just browse. Often tempted to buy stuff, but since I don’t have my own kitchen all to myself yet, I’ll have to hold my wallet nice and tight. Since I’ve taken up Culinary Arts courses at GB, I’ve been visiting this place more frequently to pick up utensils and bakeware. I think they used to have better selection, but for sure they can place a special order for you(e.g. Henkle knives) if you know what you want. They have the full catalog. Prices are great and staff are very friendly! There is always something on sale.
