I have been thrifting now for past few years. Love finding that find or hidden gem! Also i enjoy refinishing some old furniture. This store is awesome! Most of their items are usually priced accordingly. Once in a while you see something & wonder, who’s pricing this stuff but overall it’s pretty good. Especially knowing that they are a true charity unlike Value Village. There is no tax here. The staff is wonderful here. Very friendly & kind. They have their crazy $ 1 or $ 2 sales once In a while where it becomes a madhouse. It’s a little much for me but once in a while I’ll indulge. This has plenty of parking & is one of my favourite thrift lying locations! Also, when you donate you get a discount card for your next purchase.

You never know what you’ll find in a thrift shop, which is part of the appeal for some of us. Stock turns over quickly in this store, and it’s never crowded. If you have the patience to visit semi-regularly and comb carefully through the racks, you’ll find some great buys. I’ve bought like-new winter coats for under $ 20 and sweaters for $ 5. Occasional items still have the original store tags on them. I don’t wear fur, but I’ve seen vintage fur coats in top condition for under $ 70.The only department that I think needs an overhaul is dishes – you can buy new items cheaper at Dollarama.

I live near Yonge and Eglinton and have been looking for thrift stores in the surrounding area. This Salvation Army location is pretty good. It’s big and neatly laid out. There is a good selection of furniture and knick knacks. I haven’t had a lot of luck with the clothing selection but the prices are very low and there is always the possibility of a good score. For some reason the Value Village nearby is always packed with people, yet this store is usually empty.
