The long weekend was blessed with warmer weather than it has been for the past week. So we grabbed this opportunity to get iced drinks from Starbucks. This location isn’t as busy or packed as some of the ones in Scarborough so it’s good for studying. The walk from the bus stop might be lengthy though, would be better if you have a car but hey, we’re not all blessed with a car. So I feel you if you gotta walk from the bus stop. We got the Caramel Frappuccino and Cool Lime Refresher — both with caffeine to jump start our afternoon after having breakfast. Once in awhile I’d have a Frappuccino(like this time) but I’m not a super coffee gal, so I like drinking their sweeter stuff like the green tea lattes, hot chocolates or their iced drinks like their refreshers and tea lemonades, yum! Would best to cut down on that sugar tho… //more on:

This is what I consider my local starbucks, it’s closest to my house and the friendly staff keep me coming back. It can get pretty busy, but there’s a decent amount of seating(more than the other scarborough locations) and it’s a great place to study, sit and read, or have a coffee with friends.

I walked in here to grab my usual before heading to a soccer game. Normally they are pretty busy but I thought that it was my luck that there was only one person in line when I got in. They are usually pretty quick at this location however I waited in line for at least 5 minutes before getting any kind of service. The person in front of me seemed to be flirting with the employee and even though the employee saw me standing there they didn’t do anything to hurry the«transaction» along. Instead they decided to give this customer«advice» about what to get next time in detail. It wasn’t until I flashed the employee with a meaningful smile and a quick wave of my iphone with the Starbucks app open and ready did they actually get the clue that I was in a bit of a hurry and wanted to order. My green tea latte with soya milk wasn’t that great. In fact, soya milk wasn’t even added into my drink. Instead of it being half sweet it wasn’t sweetened at all. I understand that they were going to be closing in less than an hour and my drink was a Soya Green Tea Latte, half sweet, extra hot and no foam and the person that was in front of me was actually very good looking but come on…

As far as i know I have never been to starbucks only once or twice. It’s a good place for coffee. Jam packed full of people. After i get my order. I take a lid and puts it on. Okay it doesn’t fit. Moves onto the next one. Okay it’s hard to put on. Tries the next one. Okay it’s too big. I give up. And just leaves without a lid. I’m pretty sure the lids should fit on and shouldn’t cause a big amount of stress for people who just wanna grab a lid, put it on and go. But NO that doesn’t happen. What do you have to do? Shove the lid on cause it needs pressure just for it to fit on. I mean what the heck is that?! Do i get paid to get stress from such a little thing? I don’t think so.

I’m not a real big fan of Starbucks. The service here isn’t amazing and I had to correct the person on the order and change they gave me. Then they also gave me a big stink about it. I felt like an inconvenience to the person which wasn’t a way I wanted to start my day. This one is often jammed packed. Though at the right time you can find it calm. I don’t think I’d make a point of coming back here again. The folks at the Scarborough Town Center seemed far more pleasant then this one.

My favourite Starbucks location in Scarborough. Came here on a Sunday morning to grab a cup of coffee prior to Hot Yoga(yes I know, I am just asking for a death wish with this double dehydration!) I sat and sipped my java for a good hour or so, and there was never a shortage of sample trays being passed around. Lemon-Cranberry Biscotti(sinfully sweet — to the point of a cavity-inducing level of discomfort), and a few of their new flavour frappuccinos. I think within that hour I was there, 4 different samples passed me by. Great patio and pretty spacious inside, although it does start to pile up rather quickly. On a Sunday morning at 8:30AM(right when it opened), there were already about 5 patrons waiting… I heart this Starbucks!

Good place to study. Packed on Sundays. It is much easier to get to by car than by walking or bus, although it is close to STC.

I was surprised how busy this particular Starbucks was when I dropped by for my Java fix. Friday at 3:30 pm… jammed full of adults… chatting over a cup of coffee with friends… No the usual high school students doing their homework scene… maybe it was a Friday… :) a small sofa area in the front. where I parked myself for awhile enjoying the sunshine filtering through the windows. it did get a little chilly though…

As far as I can recall this is a standard Starbucks I like their coffee but I don’t think it is the best thing since sliced bread. I was there April 15, 2010. This isn’t a review it’s a tip: You can’t see this location from the road… it’s in the plaza with a National Sports, a Montana’s, and a Licks(which can be seen from Milner where there’s a driveway into the plaza). I found this location on GoogleMaps and then spent a few minutes circling around looking for it so I thought I would share.
