Nice tiny Chinese BBQ spot on Glen Watford.
It’s surrounded by every kind of Asian restaurant you can think of, but this small little place serves up Chinese BBQ and some Westernized Chinese dishes as well. The menu is plastered everywhere and you can also simply walk in and see what meats they have to offer.
I’ve had the roast pork (crispy skin pork) and roast duck on rice several times. Killer combination that is my go to. The place can be hit or miss depending on what time of day you go. Obviously, try avoiding the late night (right before closing at 8:30pm) if you can. The roast pork is good and they offer lechon if you want a smoother skin as opposed to the prickly crisp kind. Roast Duck is never crisp but the guy always gives me the best portions.
Haven’t tried their Western dishes, and I don’t plan to as I just plain don’t like them. However, definitely make your way on over if you’re craving Chinese BBQ on Rice. Simple meal that never seems to disappoint.
