Tonight I decided on Bone’s. I’ve been driving by it since it opened an upon reading the reviews… figured it was worth a shot. It’s average… but that’s not bad at all. It was very quiet when I stopped in. Bartender/waitress was very polite, and friendly. Atmosphere is quaint and pleasing. It’s a nice little(and it is little. I think the may have seating for 30 people) hole-in-the-wall. I ordered an Iced tea, and the Mushroom burger. To go «all out»…I also added cheese and bacon for a total of $ 3.00. The gravey was an additional $ 1. Not really surprising. The burger was actually quite large. Thick & Juicy. To be honest, it tasted similar to a 5 Guys burger… but it was bigger. Tasted like something I could make on my grill. Fries were decent and while gravey wasn’t amazing… it was satisfying enough. Grand total before tip was ~$ 19. I may just head back with a friend or two to sample something else one day!

We go in the evening once a week. Fabulous waitress and chef. Inexpensive, quiet until we show up. Not fancy, clean, comfortable, what more can you ask for?

Service was awful. I ordered appetizers as soon as I got in, fish tacos and wings, the wing were mediocre and had a foul after taste and the fish tacos were Bland. It was twenty minutes before a second server came to our table and asked if we needed drinks, we said we would like to order and she said she’d get our server. Our server never arrived after another fifteen minutes the second server came back and asked us if we needed anything we told her we still hadn’t ordered, we asked for the bill and left hungry. Poor service, mediocre wings and bad fish tacos. I can’t comment on the entrées because I ran out of patience and left before I was given a chance to order. Would not go again.

Nice newly renovated cozy neighbourhood pub/restaurant in Sherwood Park that replaces the old Bullseye pub which was great. Under new ownership. Renovations make this place more modern with booths and a lounge feel. It still has the U shaped bar counter. Gone is the pool table, sadly. In are 5 new flatscreen TV’s. Menu has been changed, more towards ribs, burgers and sandwiches. Beef and pork ribs were good. Good coleslaw. Pulled pork sandwich was tasty. Cheese mashed potatoes however were dry and lacked flavour… sorry, once you’ve been spoiled with Original Joes garlic mashed potatoes there’s no going back! Four beer on tap that are reasonably priced. Still has same friendly bartenders from Bullseye, thank goodness! Still has weekend karaōke. Friendly new owners. I’ll be back!
